Only WG employees are Sherriffs

You have to be a Community Contributor to be a sheriff. Currently only way to do that is be on the Council of Armored Forces.

Close,  we do have other community contributors,  such as our wiki editors,  moderators and veteran testers as well.

yes major however you dont accept Moderators anymore as far as i was told

Veteran testers

My Clan was invited once to be Sherrif's right after we had our heads handed to us at Ural Steel 2012. We viewed the invite as a great compliment.

I was a great experience and a blast to know people were getting 500 gold for killing you.

Sometimes it's regular players that get to be Sherrifs.
