so  I have to ask why do the average players suck soo much. today ive been grinding the M7/SP(for credits). and i have never raged soo much in this game. the last 13 hours have been migraine level of pain.

Now i know your probably thinking,hmm  m4 derping you no. kv-1s oneshoting you, no. Ohh arty.no although they are annoying.

The biggest problem with wot is the teammates, and for the record i know im beating the dead horse, hell the horse has been reincarnated numerous times on this issue alone.

Now I have to ask why is it so hard for the average player to just to do damage equal to their health, i make it a goal to always do at least 440 damage in my M7. Soo why is this difficult? it should be no problem for a tank in tier. but I'm constantly seeing hetzers with 0 damage. like really all you have to do is fire one derp shell into a tanks and you just accomplished that goal. M4;s with 105mm doing 0 damage. Kv1's with 0 damage. you know what i Mean

Hell one game i did 1860 damage to the enemy team in a M7, and guess what we lost. and i went outside right after i looked at the my team I just laughed. Out of 15 teammates  me and 2 unicums did almost all of the team damage literally I saw 10 tanks with 0 damage Hetzers, m4's, ETC.  like how does this even happen are people just too busy licking their windows during team play.

I know most of the people on these forums know about this issue, and are probably laughing at me even expecting teammates to not be brain dead.  But is it something about a online video game that makes people go on full blown down syndrome.  Now I think that most of the ideas to punish low WR players, i don't think they are effective. however I believe that you should have to always do your tank in damage to the enemy team.
PS: we had a 95% chance to win according to xvm(although that is not reliable, obviously)

Trying to figure out why pubbies are so bad will melt your brain. Just accept the fact that there will always be bad players. Try not to be one of them.

The average wot player is worse than the average cod player. I cant believe I'm saying that.

People are idiots. Welcome to life.

I consider myself an ok player (I at least try to take out 2 players on the enemy team during my life in the battle) but sometimes I get taken out before I can do anything. It happens.

Hey, it isn't fun at the other side of the spectrum either. (I'm looking at you counter strike)

Bad players are bad because

a) They don't realize they're bad even in the middle of making a bad set of decisions that cost their team the match
b) They don't know how they are bad because a lot of them deny statistical evidence of their low performance
c) They are content with their level of performance because they have been deflecting the blame to everyone but themselves.
d) They don't want to understand why they are bad because of reasons a, b, & c.
e) Some elements of chance in this game give bad players the false impression that sometimes they do make a difference

Mostly this.

You can't respawn.   You can't charge the enemy and wtfpwn them by yourself.  There is armor and penetration to consider as well as spotting.

In CoD you can run into 3 dudes and kill them all with 3 shots before they can react.  In WoT you'll just die horribly while missing and bouncing shells off them assuming you even make it to them with that Chaffee in the bush lighting you up.

well CS has better players than both games. although CS is very difficult when you first get started. after a while it becomes a lot easier.

Patience.  It takes patience to play this game right.  Patience to learn, patience to develop strategy, patience to gain position, etc.  A lot of players want to charge in guns blazing and engage the enemy in a firefight with no regard to tactical consequences of their actions.

I think it has a lot to do with the randomness of the players. The same map can play totally from battle to battle depending on the skill level of the player and variety of tanks. I don't think enough emphasis is placed on platoons. The continuity helps tremendously.

Also, this game inflicts ADD on players if you can't pace yourself. It's definitely arcade to the extreme.

Bad players don't understand basic tactics let alone an overarching strategy.  Baby steps ok?

WoT is a game played in your head as much as it is with control inputs.  Most people feel that video games shouldn't require any brain power...which is a mindset I struggle to wrap my head around.

Since I started playing games on the Intellivision way back in the 80s and everything in between, this is the first & only game to ever cause this to happen to me.
Bounces when bounces shouldn't happen. Shells plainly hitting the enemy tank and yet nothing at all happens. Etc etc.

Now to sit back & watch the excuses come rolling in.

It is mathematically impossible for every player in a game to do their hp in damage.  If they did, every game would end up with every player dead in a 15 to 15 draw.

f) Many of those players don't know/care about performance (or stats if they know how they are measured).  It is just shooting.

Not sure why other people have issues. For me though it's RNG and in particular 0dmg shots.

Line up a shot. Tactically aware of the team and the enemy. Aim for the weakspot... 0dmg...sigh.
