Or any that have and decided to come back some way or another.  Was/is the gameplay and Ping a lot better than NA server?

I have a second account there but the pub gameplay is too terrible to bear.

I'm confused. I hear a lot about how players on the SEA server are awful. What's different between them and the people on all the other servers besides geography?

Bad internet due to poverty, thats just the SEA, you know, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, ect, also, players have no idea what to do, they just sit in one spot to blow up tanks.

Ping is around 150 for Aussie/NZ players, up to 300 if using Optus. Only redeeming aspect about moving to SEA is how easy CW is (due to limited clans)

Well the North American server currently has all of Latin America and the Caribbean on it. Some of those countries are poverty stricken as well but we don't have the same problems on this server as those on SEA server do.

Tried Sea for ping. Turned out I only dropped 10ms so I didn't bother after that. NA is where it's at

If they were smart they would have stayed on NA... Unfortunately I was not one of those people.  :Smile_sad:

My ISP doesn't get a route to Singapore via Aus, goes from NZ across to LA then back to Singapore, ping to SEA is actually worse by 50ms+.

The first few weeks of being on the sea server was great, 100 ping. For the last few months my ping has been 280-320, first excuse was the fires on the east coast then apparently it was a damaged cable under water. Next they'll say a wombat dug a hole in the wrong place. IMO we got duped

Stuck to the NA server, I've heard very bad things about the SEA server.

One of my clan buddies that I regularly platoon with is from New Zealand.  Lag for him is minimal, but every now and then it gets crippling and he afk's a battle.  He has also indicated that NA server is better for wait times, quality of play and clans

I'm an Aussie. I have a SEA account and it's just dumb there. I have 85 games, 81% wins and 254 kills. Note that around 75 of the 85 games were solo.
I remember one game there I got scout, patrol duty, top gun and finished on 100% health in a t1 cunningham.

The ping is around 130-160 on SEA, in the NA server it is anywhere between 240 and 30,000 (no kidding I have had 30 second lag spikes)

This won't last. I was number 2 win rate on the SEA server when I only played tier 1 and 5, but as soon as I progressed beyond that I found I couldn't carry games solo.

I never even considered transferring to SEA after hearing about some of the pubbies over there, plus teir 10 matches used to be very hard to get, not sure if they still are.

Heck yes. Have a number of friends that play out of New Zealand on the NA server. We considered moving to SEA. I am pleased that I stayed on NA.

I don't plan on playing anything other than a t1 cunningham and an su-26.
If I want to play with proper tanks I'll stick to my NA account, I just made the SEA one to test it out with a few friends.
