Was part of closed beta but due to computer trouble and real life things had to quit playing for a while.  started back in 2010  lol  seems like so long ago.  Was looking at different games to play and decided to see what in world of tanks has changed.  Was real surprised to find out that I still had all my tanks and xp and credits.  So downloaded it again and started to wonder,  WHAT WAS I THINKING WAITING THIS LONG TO GET BACK INTO GAME.  lol  Some things I do agree with but over all a great game to play.  First thing I did was to get premium and more slots in garage.  Hope to see you all ingame and if you see a T2 tearing across the battle field it just might be me  lololol

Been playing for about two weeks now.  Came close to quitting the game altogether today though.  When at work I use my trackball and had an issue where I got confused, did not see the "green outline" around the tank and accidently blew up a team members tank.  As soon as I recognized that I apologized.  It was an honest mistake.  But to make matters worse two of "my fellow" team members -  started to pound on me about it.

I think as a recourse I am going to use a regular wireless mouse and turn off the trackball and see if that helps.

Just wish that some of the more seasoned players would offer more constructive criticism rather than jump all over a newbie such as myself.  I am not intentionally out to squash my team.  Sorry, just frustrated.

Great you said sorry. I know about 10 guys that play and all have shot a team member by accident and all feel bad about.  The best way to make amends is when you are shot by a Newbie (and this will happen), quickly forgive their mistake. It is only a game! Try to ignore the rants and raves of the foolish and uncivilised and always try to make the game fun because it is a GAME!

Thanks...I appreciated your support.  Think I will go back to my tier 1 tank for a while although my teenage son would like me to use my tier III tanks.  So much to learn.

I’m confused; as a new player (going on my 3rd week) I can’t figure out why WoT would block its newest members from using the message system.  I mean how else would you talk to others and get information about joining a battle or clan?

I received a message on 5/14/2013:
Sent: Yesterday, 05:09 PM

I am the huntedtank I just quite a clan and want to be part of ours in 2 days please contact me I would like to discuss some things with u

I went to replay and found this message when I did:
“Sorry, you must have 10 messages to post or 30 days from registration “

So how and the heck and I to reply and let this player know anything, because I can’t reply.  So now he’ll think I’m blowing him off and don’t want to talk to him and may form the opinion that I’ a dick because I didn’t have the common decency to reply to a simple message.

Maybe there is nothing in the forums they needs a response or comment from me?  This posting rule sucks as much as I did on playing this game on day one.
If WoT wants players to communicate and interact with one another for battles and clans, then they should do away with this silly ass rule and allow players, especially new ones, to communicate!  Which if the game creators did any research learned that the motto of armor is: Move, Shoot, and Communicate?  Something I cannot currently do under these rules!

I have accidentally shot a teammate and I always try to apologize right away.  Last thing I want to do is screw the team up.

I am new to this game and maybe this has already been answered.  How am I getting hit and destroyed when I am behind a boulder or a building?  There is no possible way I can be seen
but yet I get hit
