Here's an idea for a Perk that would be fun in a TD or Arty.  Like all ideas I'm sure it's not new so please feel free to flame me.

*this idea is totally non-realistic and probably terrible but what the heck.

How about a Bomb / self destruct perk?  Here's who you use it.

You are in a TD, Arty, or even a low mobility Heavy Tanks and an enemy has you tracked and is alongside or facehugging you,  you are getting low on HP and you are definitely going to die soon.  Having given up hope of survival you decide to take the enemy with you and click the Bomb icon.

BOOM!  your tank blows up like a 500 pound bomb and takes any other nearby tank with it.  Ah sweet revenge!

I know it's totally unrealistic but so is shooting an enemy in a facehug when your barrels reach well beyond your enemy.

This idea is bad and you should feel bad.

You do realize you can push off attackers?

Interesting... I'm sure it wouldn't turn into a preferred troll mechanism for team damage.

I actually self-destructed in my SPG once.
I moved forward in overhead view to level the tracks, all the while targeting the enemy (so wasn't watching where I was)..
I ran into the side of a dead tank right as I leveled and shot as soon as the recticle closed.
BOOM. Shell hit dead tank at end of barrel. One-shot splash kill of myself.
Laughed so hard at my noob move I almost peed myself.

SO your basically saying remove all the shells from our ammo rack and load it with a large explosive self detonating bomb?

this sounds good... even when will never happen, a Suicide-Sacrifice Button whould be amaizing, it will increase the number of useless people around, example suiciding at the start .__.

It would be realistic, setting off the ammo and fuel should produce a pretty big bad explosion.

I just think it's an asshole thing to do. Just take death like a tank.
