When is WOT going to do something about all these AFK players. Bot/Idle what ever you want to call them is really getting over the top I just played my third in a row with a player not in the game. And no it was not that they did not load they were in just not doing anything. The Public games, which are already a pain, are getting worse. Yes I and I encourage others to report but we never see anything done about it and the problem is getting much worse. 1 in 4 sees a team with a none playing player in the last month . Please get to the WOT Devs and see what can be done this has to change people are really getting discouraged by and I for one are really fed up by it.
Thanks

No they will not. Why should they care? They are making too much money AS IT IS...with no real competition for frustrated players to go to..

Stupid idea, but I wish WG would make AFK players who have been AFK for 10 minutes able to get teamkilled without penalties, would be nice to make some extra stuff off of the useless shits.

Do any complainers have constructive, practical suggestions for implementing some kind of "Bot Police"?
The only one I can think of is a count of zero-movement games. Anyone showing a percentage over -- whatever -- would be warned. A second round of z-m games, or an extraordinarily high percentage, would be penalized.
It would have to take into consideration the worst possible connection and computer instability conditions in order to avoid penalizing those who simply have more than average problems beyond their control.

They will not and should not fix this "problem" because there is no way of telling whether they are AFK or whether they have crashed, been disconnected from the game. I have ha cases myself where I have crashed or been disconnected or even had a blue screen as the match started and it would be unfair to punish those people just because of you.

Don't allow a player to enter a second battle while he has a tank alive.
1) slows BOTters to a crawl, so would probably not worth it (can't have multiple bot tanks running at once)
2) would eliminate "crappy MM, I am going to be a brat and leave the battle and start another. Screw you guys!" players, since they'd just have to sit in the garage
3) would not "accidently" penalize disconnections, urgent nature calls, etc. because no penalties exist (XP, credits, etc.)
Ban the bots! No battle entry with another tank alive!

I also believe the only implementable means of reducing the number of bots, and this is going to suck for some players/tanks, but no damage to enemies= no EP/credits.
Apologies to the scouts

I think my record this weekend was 4 AFK's, and we had a few TK's on top of that so we were down 7 tanks before the first shot was fired. Every single game felt like it was 13 on 15. I'm also seeing a lot more top-tier heavy tanks staying behind in base, to the point where I consider it lucky if we have even 10 tanks to work with. After last night's parade of bots and base-huggers, I've let my premium account run out and gone back to lower tiers for awhile.

Why does this topic keep coming up? Until you give us a method of proving someone is really AFK w/ an acceptable "false positive" probability, this issue will not and should not be addressed.
