Edit: Since I now have a plethora of flags on here, I decided to rename the topic.

These are just a few flags that I did in spare time for no raisin, they are simple, yet they also have a worn look to them, so they look like they have been through a battle or two, fitting for historical skins and such.

Free France Flag:

1st Canadian Armored Division:

In addition, I have also included a transparent decal mod for those of you who have skins that, historical or otherwise, the default decals get in the way.

Before:
Spoiler
After:
Spoiler

29th Infantry Division Insignia (Replaces American Flag)

British Flag:

Installation:

To install, simply place the 8.3 folder in your res_mods folder located in your world of tanks directory, this is usually located in C:\Games, otherwise, it would be located in the Program files folder.

Note: To uninstall, simply delete the files in the res_mods folder you wish to delete, for example, if you wish to delete the FFF flag, simply delete sticker_36.dds from your res mods folder.

Failzord for giving me the links to the images in the first place, and jump starting my idea of creating these flags.

Nice, especially the one for 1st Canadian Armoured Division Brigade. Would you consider adding the formation signs for 2nd Canadian Armoured Brigade, 4th Canadian Armoured Division, and 5th Canadian Armoured Division as well?

Plus, you're missing the link to the download. It takes to media fire but only to log-in tot he site, and nothing more.

Well I derped hard, I completely forgot some things, anyways, here's the individual links, they should work, but it's been a while since I used mediafire. Or I was being lazy and decided to go the fastest way and just link them all toghether, much to the fail it caused  :Smile_Default:

I can probably do them, the main reason I changed up the Canadian flag is because it was pink, but I could change some of the other logos into something similar

I was also considering doing a WW2 era German flag, but I fear a swastika may be found offensive by some people.

I won't use them and try to avoid SS divisions when creating "historical" skins. I'd considered making them, but then found a fair amount of racism and actual nazi appreciation among the player base, so historical accuracy be damned they can all go to hell. Mockery, such as the Hello Kitty head on the DAK palm tree, work for me. Decide for yourself if it's worth the trouble.

Well, the main thing I do with mods is that I do them off a whim, for example, last night I replaced the American flag with the 29th Infantry Division insignia, sure, it was never used on any tanks (to my knowledge anyways) however, I felt it looked nicer than the original American flag.

Spoiler

Or the British flag I did around 20 minutes ago.

Spoiler

In reality, my main purpose for doing these skins is mainly for myself, however, I felt that others might like them, so I decided to release them as a small little addon to add some nice looking flags to their tanks.
