I've been wondering about the Sexton I since it was found a few days ago. Some of my friends say it's going towards the British tech tree, but I think it's going towards the American tech tree.

Found this in the packages of the 8.4 Common Test. Brown camo, says "usa", and the American tech tree lists the Sexton I as a premium tank. In the British tech tree, there is also a Sexton, but not a Sexton I.

So basically, this Sexton is American and another Sexton will be British later on, unless it's just a error?

I don't know what kind of reply I'm expecting, I guess just "we already knew this" or "oh, thanks for clearing that up" :u

For some reason unknown, it is being tested in the American side.  When it is released, it will be British.

I'm pretty sure it's a Canadian made tank so likely British.

Yeah deciding which nation this thing goes too has been a bit of a conundrum. It's an American SPG modified to mount a British gun that was built by the Canadians. It was intended to be used by the British but most of the surviving examples we have left are sporting the US olive green and white star. This was because most Canadian vehicles used almost the exact same color scheme and insignia as their US allies during the war.

The question is will WG change the paint scheme to the default British tan and flag to make it better fit the rest of the British line? Or will they leave it with the historically accurate olive green with a white star to make it stand out from the rest of it's nation like the Panther M10?

Info on supertesters: http://ftr-wot.blogs...-wargaming.html

EDIT: Meant this link: http://ftr-wot.blogs...in-numbers.html Still, the other one is a good read.

"As a veteran player on the NA server, is there any chance of becoming a SuperTester myself? And How would I go about applying for it."
"You'll have to wait for another supertest recruiting drive, which will most likely be soon, because many people got fired. I think your best bet is to ask your US community organizer about it."

"Currently, there are 720 people active on the supertest. Out of that, 2 are "translators" (everything on supertest is in Russian, at least the mail communication has to be translated to english), 32 are "coordinators"and the rest (686) are regular supertesters.
Out of regular supertesters, 66 are Europeans, 1 is American and the rest are Russians."
