If for that much, its a great deal. Only problem is that Windows 8. 8 is awesome, as its all I use, but 7 is just better.

WIndows 8 unlike Windows 7. . . Is great, the moment you have a problem you will get "automatic repairs" and a big black spinning gear thing and no error messages to indicate what the problem is. Oh and don't forget about enabling Safe Mode because it is disabled by default >:D On top of that, if you don't mind having a Tablet OS on your Desktop computer Windows 8 is the GREATEST OS EVER MADE!
Stick with Windows 7, there is a reason why the market share of Windows 8 will remain below 10% for a long time. That's because Microsoft pulled a Vista, again.

Tomshardware system builder is a great place to start IMO. $500 gaming PC. Of course things have changed slightly, but really the site a top notch place for resources about building your own.

this is not a gaming desktop tho, look at that video card, this sucks for gaming.
You have no ssd either to rapidly load your os and your pc.
the chipset AMD 760G is the basic really.
my advice is, if you want a gaming pc, get a better video card!
you dont have sata-3 either

Windows 8 is not only... lame... but it might have some compatibly issues with WoT and other, older, games.

Honestly, all of the "problems" I listed are easily rectifiable and are not too bad when compared to Vista. It's just that Microsoft came out with Windows 7 and when compared to Windows 8, Windows 8 only has some very minor improvements.
My only real tangible problem is the automatic repairs function, for the general populace that are not technically literate this can be a huge problem for them because it has the possibility of locking up their computer for days. My opinion is that while Microsoft is making good strides to penetrate the Tablet/Mobile OS market they are doing it temporarily at the expense of their established market.

Seems right at that price for a company PC that uses AMD processors, sub-par GPU, and who knows what brand of power supply, motherboard, and hard drive.

I built my own, and loaded 7 on it. RIght now, my graphics is being handled by an APU, but once I get the GPU, my total will come out to about 460 bucks with shipping.

World of Tanks is not compatible with Windows 8. Meaning that it does not work with Windows 8.
