Hey guys, I'd like to install a zoom-in mod, and I've searched a lot for it.. But I can't find any.
I want to zoom in more then I can now, and b4 anyone says that it won't improve my accuracy one bit. -> I know that.
I would like to know if there is one out there (possibly updated ofc) and if not please tell me how to modify the file where zooming is coded.
I heard its just like: <some sort of code> 1 2 4 <some sort of code>
and I just have to change the 1 2 and 4.
Is this so?
I also know that I can't use more then 3 of these variables. Ive read this in a thread, but it's dead and I can't find it anymore..

Please help me out.

Greetings from a desperate sniper ;)

I am interested in this too. It sucks on maps like El Hallouf where you can't look at them properly.

WG needs to change the game code so mods like this don't work. Or better yet just ban the bad players that use them. Even tho this mod doesn't improve your overall aim, it does allow for you to aim at critical points from farther away than the "stock" game mechanics allow.

This isn't COD where you can be a noob sniper and hide in a bush and "head shot" other noobs.

Thank you very much tombell, I've tested it with my Hellcat on Mines. :D
I spawned south and I hit a Tiger II from very far while using hitskins in his side. He was on the first island (from their spawn)..

I don't really think this mod is legal. It gives you an unfair advantage over the other players. Mod confirmation?

Not really. It doesn't change the gun accuracy at the range, nor the draw distances.

I used to use one of those but stopped since ive heared roumors of it's illegalness. With that mod i was able to peek-a-boo at enemies behind buildings. Now im based only on some skill, luck and patience (which is not one of my best abilities).

this zoom in mod wil not give you any more advantage at hitting these proposed modules at a greater distance due to the actual accuracy of your gun at the increased distance. It is also NOT illegal. there is too much misinformation going around here.

That is a tough one......hmmm..
Just do what I tell you to and it will work at all times without fail. Even with a new updates and patches it should be just fine.
Break you nose and move in closer to the monitor. Works for me.

This actually isn't true either, as the ONLY "banned" mod was the tracer one. Which most everyone know, those actions are handled server side now, but given the recent bot out, it seems someone figured out a way around this.
