Tankers!

We've got some exciting news! This weekend at SXSW, thanks to our partnership with IGN Pro League, we'll have a World of Tanks tournament on hand featuring two of the best teams in North America: SIMP & Fulcrum Gaming. More details here in our official story.

Cheers,

in before every pubbie scrub clan comes in here claiming to be the best team.

Overall though, sounds neat.  What kind of streaming/broadcasting can we expect?

I'm pretty sure those two have the highest ELO ratings so yeah... Who do you think is better?

One of my friends gets to go to Texas to play in a tourney... I am all sorts of jelly. I am very excited to see these matches though, I am sure they will not disappoint to put on a good show!

as of http://worldoftanks....ssic,_Season_2/, I see :

Fulcrum Gaming 1461
River of Blood [W-A-R] 1446
S.I.M.P. 1411
WAR & PEACE 1380
Cazadores 1372

I see a few others in the 1200 range, but those are the top five in that tourney that I saw.  I don't know if there are more up-to-date stats.

Would it be considered inappropriate to bring large poster boards with images of the forum posts from the trolls players at SIMP and Fulcrum Gaming?

Tough to even consider anyone from either of these groups as the best at anything, other than trolling.

Guess where I live?  Might have to check this out.  Usually try to avoid SXSW because of all the traffic but maybe not this year.

Dammit, if this was 1 week later I'd be home for spring break to go! But maybe I'll go to the tank reenactment in college station instead...
