Bonus Codes Not Working

augiec's Photo augiec Mar 05 2013

At the PAX (Penny Arcade Expo) in Seattle, I was given a card from a World of Tanks rep that gave a One Month Premium Account Bonus Code for existing and new accounts.  The expiration date on the card is 8-1-2013.  However, when I enter the code, it says it has expired.  Am I out of luck with this one?

I have several of the cards the rep gave me and not one of them works.  I tried logging in with 3 different machines and always get that the code has expired despite the 8-1-2013 date.  If it works for you, go for it.

That's an invite code. Which means that existing accounts cannot use it but a brand new account can use it AT THE TIME OF CREATION.
(Just keep in mind that having more than 1 account per server is not allowed though. ;))

Hmmm...wonder if it will work on the EU or Russian servers instead.

Some companies (especailly those based in foreign countries) use odd ball date sequences. Some countries use dd/mm/year instead of teh normal mm/dd/year. So it might be possible that it expired on January 8th, 2013.

Either this or someone got a copy of your codes, or hacked them, and used them already.

Maybe you are correct in that the date is in European format.  Try this code:  GE5U822RW9YHV9

Gregorian little-endian, starting with day (Day-Month-Year)
This sequence is common to the vast majority of the world's countries.

Middle-endian, starting with month (Month-Day-Year)
This sequence is used primarily in the United States.

USA is the oddball...
