Hi Guys, I've figured out the trick to World of Tanks.

There is a mathematical equation that determines the winning team. I call it "Silvio's Rule."

Here it is:

Quote

Silvio's rule:
Whichever team has the most interesting side activities will win the game.

Attn: detractors of this theory. I will now walk you through my deductions, and bend you to my will.

-Proper strategy consists of AFK camping a bush, and killing enemies who make foolish (aggressive) moves.
-The player that gets impatient will make foolish aggressive moves.
-The player that does not get impatient will stick with proper strategy (camp).
-Side activities (any non-WoT activity, such as websites, snacks, etc.) reduce the rate at which a player becomes impatient.
-A player with interesting side activities will remain patient much longer than a player with no side activities, and execute proper strategy much more consistently.
-A player with interesting side activities will remain patient much longer than a player with no side activities, and will not execute foolish offensive maneuvers.
-A team of players executing proper strategy will win the game.
-A team of players executing foolish strategy will lose the game.

THEREFORE

Whichever team has the most interesting side activities will win the game.

Or you could follow these three simple steps:

1. Don't be bad@tanks.
2. ...
3. Profit

To be honest you only have 154 battles, unless you are on a alt account then you need to get into higher tier games before really making a thread on this.

I talk with my 5 GFs while playing so I'm more patient than anyone else.

I have a 3 year old, and also like to drive tanks while drinking.  Yet I still suck.  Perhaps my story is an outlier.

I started using the same amazing techniques learned from playing damage dealing characters in server leading guilds from EQ and WoW:

1)  Apply damage.
2)  Don't die.

Are you suggesting that proper forum strategy is to wait/lurk/camp as long as you can, and only then make aggressive posts?

That seems eerily similar to proper WoT strategy, which is to wait/lurk/camp as long as you can, and only then make aggressive maneuvers.

Excuse me, I have a problem with this guide.

I sometimes watch YouTube clips during lulls in the battle but I am not pro yet

I demand a refund

Sit around too long, though, and very good players will put 2+2 together and flank you, which involves at least two people creeping up on you from two or more directions. Sure, you'll hit one, but you'll die quickly.

Sincerely, Every good Medium & Light Tank Driver, Ever.
  • Behind a Rock? They'll go around both sides of the Rock
  • In a Corridor, Valley, or Alley?  You'll get attacked from both directions, given enough time.
  • Distracted? Oh, be rest assured, anyone who notices and with the brain capacity will take advantage that your gun isn't pointed at them
Will Camping Work? Yes
Will Camping Work all the Time? No.
Will camping work if EVERYONE does it? You'll be torn apart.

So, basically what you're saying is:  in order to maximize our stats, we must only play WoT while attending bunga bunga parties?

At the start of this thread I was actually interested, but by the end i was disappointed.

Generally being aggressive and good enough to not get killed wins games From tier 1-10. Camping gets you no where (litterally). So yea I disagree with camping entirly.
