You guys should extend the skirmish by one day so  A and B can fight it out for first.

But that would mean someone from  B would have to fight a previous Tourney winner like Fulcram/G, RoB or Team Plaid, and we can't have that right!?  That's the point of *random* seeding!

That drags it into sunday, during the time of the classic season.
If they wanted to do that it should be for an extra prize, not for the initial 5k gold for getting "first place", anyone who finishes first in either bracket should still get the 5k gold, but have the option to show up the following day for a fight between the two bracket winners for an additional 1k-2k gold. That way it doesn't screw over anyone in the classic season.

It looked to me like registration was kept open for extra hours so that two full brackets could be filled. Thank you for that. Nice to bend the rules when it only benefits everyone.

Edit: I see Striker_002 point. Bracket A has a lot more heavy hitters than bracket B. I saw something similar in Skirmish 10 with two brackets. That time bracket B had 4 teams in the top 8 , 3 teams in top 4, and two finalist which were high elo rated teams. While bracket A had some good teams none of the top 8 were elo rated and only one low elo rated team in top 16.

For this skirmish the high elo rated teams are more spread between brackets but bracket A has more hidden top teams who are not elo rated or newly rated. Cap Fast Nation, Kozaks, SIMPLISTIC, GRFLD, Team Plaid (left off their rating), Muscles and Glasses, and Fusion. Plus the two high rated elo teams. I see only two high rated elo teams on bracket B and don't see hidden top teams. I apologize to anyone I missed.

Full disclosure, my team is in bracket B so should benefit from the imbalance.

You have a tourney tier cap.  But is it active?  One team player came on with a T69 and the system allowed it into the match.

.........t69 is NOT allowed per the rules, and YES the game will allow it to be taken. This is an issue with tiering and is up to the team leaders to SS and file a complaint through the appropriate means.

Skirmishes are unseeded. There are no plans to change this in the near future.

That has been the claim, but in the two skirmishes that have had duel brackets the most competitive teams/previous winners have been dumped into the same bracket.
Of course, with only two "trials" this could feasibly be chance(Albeit a real low one according to some basic statistics).   We will have to see if it continues to happen in the future ;).
