War Gamming,
Something needs to be done with this crap tank, Us free players can not get more than 200 xp max a match because the MM is horrible. And trying to research parts is well slooooooow. I have researched tracks and motor, but geeting to a decent gun is murder with the

If they fix Churchill VII's armour layout than sure Churchill CG would be much better.

I've actually had a few good matches in it, even got 511 exp without 2x battle, but it really does need some sort of improvement since every shot to the turret kills one of the crew or disables the gun. Whether armor or speed or price, actually some of the other posts about it note some pretty good adjustments that could be made for it.

the Churchill VII is not related to the Churchill GC at all.....the only thing they have in common is the Churchill name and a similar shape.

If they fix the fake space armour and/or stop considering the suspension housing as 'hull' than at least it can careless about 100ish pen shorts and hold some ground like SU100Y.

The Churchill GC comes from the Churchill 1, but they change the front hull Armour rating for the Churchill 1 to 177 while the GC is still using the old stats so they need to change it as well.

Here's the solution for your woes: British TD mainline. Believe me, it's far easier than trying to cope with this piece of garbage of the GC. Tanks there are far better and a lot of fun in the main line. The AT-8 is a joy to play with the top gun, and also, you unlock all the good guns necessary to progress at the AT-7 and 15 quickier. Churchill have just one shared gun and with the AT-15, that you'll probably won't even end up using anyway. Not to mention all the path before, everything is way too fun on that line if it fits your style.

According the Na server stats the Churchill GC WR is below 50% while the rest of the main line TDs from tier 5 and above are above 50%. Conclusion, don't jump from the heavy to TD lines.

When I take out my mine I use it like the Dicker max, SU-100y, other thin skined tds stay behind a group of tanks.  I move bush to bush behind my team in a support role and pick shoots.  If you move out on your on ahead of the pack which is hard cause it is so slow you will be back in the garage.
