M6: an underrated tank and the best tank i...

The T1 was fine because even though the paper sides/back made it susceptible to being flanked, the high RoF, decent agility, and fast turret traverse really helped you keep up with those that tried.

The T1 wasn't perfect, of course. You had some serious issues where your tank has next to no camo, next to no view range, and the top speed just isn't enough to evade arty - luckily seeing these kinds of arty are fairly rare, and no T5 is really expected to deal with Hummel hits. The Grille will give you a run for your money, though.

The M6's biggest advantage is that people don't realize its lower front area is actually stronger than the upper area.  It gets a lot of bounces because people expect the lower front to always be the weakest part of the hull.

The armor is solid against same-tier mediums, which is all you can really ask of most tanks' armor.

The advantages I find most useful are:
• solid top speed and excellent acceleration provide awesome mobility for a heavy
• the combination of excellent depression, accuracy and aim time enables the M6 to troll the hell out of higher tier tanks

Gun depression lets you use the planet as your armor. >:D

I loved my T1HT, one of the most fun and enjoyable tanks I've played that resulted in some of the best games I've ever played.

The M6 on the other hand, doesn't share that love.

The M6 is a bigger stronger T1HT, so why is it so much less enjoyable to play?

It just doesn't match up in its tier well.

The T1HT in a tier 5 match is an absolute beast, bouncing shots left and right while putting holes into the enemy every three and a half seconds, a fantastic vehicle.

The M6 has a much better gun but the exact same hull and turret armor, it can't bounce an incoming shot from another tier 6 vehicle for s**t.

Tanks like the KV-1S, VK 3601, other M6s, Churchill 7 all have no problems putting shot after shot into its armor.

The tank itself is fine, the problem is it just doesn't match up well enough against the tanks firing back at it.

Abuse your advantages, minimize your disadvantages.  Use your gun depression to get hull-down to use a hill as impenetrable armor.  Shoot at long range to use your good accuracy and aim time.  Remember you have excellent mobility.

Don't go around trying to tank shots and expect them to bounce, not if your opponent is a Tier 6 HT.  Use mobility, gun depression and aim time to avoid getting shot in the first place.
