The contours are nice, and they look great so far. The XL1 reminds me of Japanese and Czech tanks, like the Pz38t and the Type 97 and 95 tanks. It looks a bit too modern for something of the late 1930's, maybe you should change the production date to 1939 or 1940, like the era where the M2 Medium was rolling out in the USA.

Another interesting note is that your tanks all have been christened, per say, rather modern names. "Scorpion", "Grizzly", and "Ambusher" sound like something that would appear in Halo, not a WWII tank series. Oh well, they sound good all the same, can't really complain here.

Also, perhaps you should adopt a modeling program to 3d render these tanks. Would be a shame if something with so much promise wasn't modeled...

Thanks and yeah, I have made new contours for the XL1. As for modeling, I recently got all of the plugins Giganaut listed for Sketchup, but if worst comes to worst, I'll just ask him, voltteken or you to make the tank with some sketches I made.

First, want to keep this from the archive. Second, how is the XL1 coming along?

I've got the full design sketches done. I'll be giving them over to Thenoob so he can model it. I'll be posting the information for the L2 soon.

Sorry for the increasing delays for my design sketches. School's getting in the way of a lot of things. So, from now on, I will just be adding statistics and information for my tanks, then I'll add the sketches once school's out of the way.

Also, I have found an efficient way of making models in Sketchup. It involves making all of the major components, separate (I used to try and make all of the parts at once, which constantly failed.)

Added on a whole bunch of stuff. I will send the design sketches over to Thenoob to have them modeled, then I'll upload them, so don't expect them to be up too soon!

Looks like I need to make some more stats. I am more worried about general balence then modular balence

The contour for the XL1 is up! I tried to make an older looking design considering it was made in the late 30s.

Also, should I add more premium vehicles that are A. Related to tanks on the tree B. Completely knew Glacian vehicles or captured vehicles or C. Based off of some of wheeled_tank's tanks?

The XL1 reminds me of a Medium Mk III. Premium wise, I go with B as well as some Post-War joint project tanks ;)

Edit:The TD-HMX-68 is suppose to be TD-HMR-68.

1. Thanks, stock turret was in fact based off of the early British mediums.
2. Okay, maybe Glacya and your country (should you name it) can establish political connection and create some vehicles.
3. Okay, I'll fix that once I make some new premiums.

As of now, I'm working out the stats for the L1 and the Tier 2 lights. I hope to have them up shortly.

Wow... the new contours look great! I love it, they look much more realistic now. It has a sort of blocky feel to it, kind of like the japanese and british low-tiers added together. Anyway, good job, keep it up.

The XL1 Experimental has been renamed to the XL1 Test Bed because XL stands for Experimental Light, which makes the "Experimental" in the name redundant. Also, added in six new Premium Vehicles: the XMAP1 (Tier V SPG), the M12 Reaper (Tier VII Medium), the XM15 (Tier V Medium), the TD-JgPz. V Jagdpanther (Tier VII TD), the H-Pz. VII Lowe, and the M26 Pershing w/ 108 mm Cannon (Tier VIII Medium.)

I plan on adding more premiums and if anyone has any ideas, feel free to share them with me.

3 things:
1: I will still call the XL1 the XL1 Experemental because it sounds better(but is more redundent) then XL1 Test bed

2:Wondering when you were getting a tier VIII Premium heavy.

3:I am trying to think of a turret for a Pershing so it can equip a 108mm gun

Added in a brief description and the module paths for the L1 and TD-M9.3 premium vehicles.

However, just because I started work on other vehicles, doesn't mean all work on the XL1 has stopped. I'm still getting everything worked out with that tank.

I have finally completed the sketch for the XL1. I'm going to clean it up later, but for now I am going to continue work on the other vehicles.

I like the top turret. Reminds me of the early Crusier tanks.

Well, I've got most of the stats for tanks below Tier IV. And I've started work on some models of the XL1 (both versions) and the L1.

I'm moving this to a new post, similar to what wheeled_tank did. If I continue on, the page is going to get cluttered.
