I'm glad to introduce our new sound mod. Here is the Steel Foxes sound mod by Strategic Music.

 
This mod provides alternative voice reactions from the tank crew. We have recorded more than 600 original phrases for about 45 different in-game situations. We tried to fill our mod with real emotion, a full atmosphere and some humor, which we believe will give you a new gaming experience.

 
Currently the mod consists of three voices - the commander, someone from an other tank crew, who makes comments when the commander or whole crew is deactivated and a female voice who comment on the sixth sense ability.

 
Aside from the voices, we have designed several sounds for the most important in-game situations such as fire in the tank, radar sighting and critical hit. During those key situations the sounds come before the phrases to let the player immediately realize what is going on with the tank.

How to install
1) Exit the game
2) Look for the /res folder in the game's client folder. In the /res folder look for the /audio folder. Copy the /audio folder to the /res_mods/0.8.10 folder
3) Extract our mod to the /res_mods/0.8.10/ folder. All the files should be replaced.

4) Be sure that the standart voice-over type is chosen in the sound options menu

This is a great addition to the mod section! +1. Any plans for making more crew voices in the future? for example German commanders, French, etc?

We will definitely add more crew voices into Steel Foxes. I think the next update will have something interesting :)

This is excellent! Thank you so much! Finally brings a new level of realism to the outdated, monotone-ish, default voices. Great work! I'm sealing this away in a special folder in-case I ever need a backup! :P

I'd like to offer my thanks as well. While I may not love each and every line, there's a great amount of variety and they all fit the game (unlike so many other voice mods). It's a substantial, professional effort. Thanks!
