And I don't have the answer!

I will only be able to get one Tier X tank this year (limited play time). I'm a poor player, but I'm getting better and having fun doing it. Love the game.

I like Leo's gun depression and accuracy, but I like most everything else about the T62A. I play both fairly well on the Test Server. Both are fun to me, perhaps the Leo is more fun. T62A seems to have lower profile.

Eventually, I hope to get into clan wars, that's why I ruled out my first choice, the E50M.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

I'd start with the T62A if I were you.

The Leopard I has been proven to be unforgiving to people who don't know how to play it.

Go for T62A then Leopard 1 later on.

Go with the T-62A...and in the hands of a skilled medium player, the E-50M rapes.

T-62A is still the king of the mediums. Nothing beats a 5 second reload at tier X.

The E50M was my first choice of Tier X to go for because of it's gun, decent armor and ramming. But do clans use them in clan wars? I've read that T62A is the one most chosen.

I've played E50M on Test Server and I do OK with it, but I seem to do better with T62A and Leo.

I use my E-50M currently in CW's. Open maps need mobility and armor. Having the most accurate gun in game doesn't hurt either. I killed 3 batchats in my last CW's game, one entirely by myself!

The T-62A is an all round good medium vehicle, go that then Leoprad 1, then E-50M

E-50M has better hull armor than the T-62A

Have now played 20 games in Leo I, T62A and E50M. Stats nearly identical in all of them. 45-50 WR, 75-80 hit rate, damage totals the same.

It would cost me 150,000 less xp to get E50M or Leo I. That is also a consideration.

Another thing. I love to ram. I helped our team win a couple of battles with late game rams and almost won another with a ram.

If E50M were a better CW tank, I would definitely choose it.

The rams were in an E50M, of course.

I like the T62A. I'm not good in it but I still like for its rate of fire, low profile and occasional timely bounce. It is used in CW more often than the E-50M. As for the Leopard, I liked its gun and speed. It is hard to get more than an general idea from the test server since the quality of the play is suspect. By suspect, I mean that there are relatively new players driving high tier tanks, many players goofing around and general idiocy.  Before I made a decision, I would look from some reviews or replays from good players, Anfield does a number of reviews, and go from there. It won't help you at this moment but http://www.wotpro.com/ should have some good information once the Leopard is released to live.

Well, lol, add another tank for consideration - the T57 Heavy. Love playing that, too.

After 20 battles on test, 60 WR, damage and Hit Rate same as others.

I like that autoloader!

The signal range of the T62A intrigues me. 850 meters. Sounds like a big advantage over just about any other tank.

Well, I finally chose the E50M line to go down. It fits my playstyle and I'm sure my clan or another one will accept an E50M as a clan wars tank. I will go for the T62A or Leopard I next, probably in 6 months.

Deciding factors included the fact that the Tier 9 E50 is a really good tank on its own, the only Tier 9 that I really am interested in playing regularly. It will destroy other Tier 8 and 9s. I just bought it tonight! Look at all the gun options! Wow!

And both the E50 and E50M are kings of ramming, something I really enjoy. I also enjoy sniping. Only the E50M combines excellent ramming and excellent sniping at Tier 10.

I think people don't like the E50M because it plays more like a heavy. That's a plus to me, not a negative. It's a real fast "heavy" that can also snipe. Sounds good to me! Exactly what I want, for now.

Anyway, thanks to all for your advice and opinions. I really like this game!
