1) the normal auto aim
2) auto aim "high" - locks on to enemy turret center of mass
3) auto aim "low" - locks on enemy hull center of mass

#3 would be Cheat Mode, no skilz needed.
I enjoy improving my skills... so no.

for some of us squishy tank users trying to fight off other squishy tank users it can be a life saver. I don't use it enough in my chaffee when I'm moving, dodging/wheeling around trying to fend off a T71 or the likes fighting for my life.
I started using it a bit as well when I'm zerging back and forth trying to kill a series of tier 8 arty that takes 4-5 shots from the chaffee whilst one of them is aiming their doom cannon at me as well with reasonable success.

1) Firing on the move
2) Circling a tank and focusing on driving instead of aiming
3) Using a gun with VERY slow shells over high distances, thus firing over most small hills
Otherwise it's a shell loss.Forgot to add peek-a- booming, but it's still not the brightest idea

A light or scout can use auto aim when circling a target or to lock onto an arty and not have to stop to shoot.
Other then those 2 it has no use in any other tank.
It should only be an option for scouts and lights.
A heavy or medium using auto aim wastes ammo, doesn't do damage when they do hit and causes them to rely on it instead of skill.

We are very different people. If my opponents want to use auto-aim I am happy. That means I won't
as likely get tracked and slowly blown to bits. Also, the C-O-M of a tank tends not to be a 'soft spot' so
I am much more likely to survive the first shot and may be able to finish them off while reloading.
Also, if my teammates use auto-aim they can keep enemy busy with minor damage and I can aim
carefully and one-shot them. I cause more damage, get the kill and may not even get shot at.
Please, please, please WG - keep Auto-aiming for those who would use it - it's win-win!
