i got the error 3 times, each time quitting the update client, then on the 4th time it started working. Restarting almost always works xD

I got an error that told me to check a log file (which didn't exist). I closed the application, re-opened it, and unchecked "allow torrents", and AFAIK, it's updating fine.

It could just be due to an overload of people downloading it, or being too soon to its release.

No idea NetJunky :/ to be honest like people saying keep restarting it? or give it some time - mass people getting up to get on !

I just restarted the game client and it is working fine after getting the "the login packet sent to server was malformed. Probably you application is out of date or corupted" message.

Uninstall the game, then log in as admin and try to re-install it.

Well, I updated my Ru server on Monday night, updated my Eu server early this morning, and am updating my US server now.  Thus far I've had no errors of any kind(mouse-clik on fake wood-grain mousepad).  I'll be updating my SEA server as soon as I finish and it's up.

I'm not sure if I'm lucky and hitting the download servers at low-use times, or if latency/ping issues are messing with your updates.

Im having the same issue have restarted 3 times and tried closing and re-opening the game client about 15 times still having the same error message.  Guessing it's do to volume all trying to download all at once??  I'm hoping this is the problem anyways!  If anyone has any suggestions or advice to get me up and running that would be great thanks.  Happy tanking to all who are able to download and play
