At first, I was simply happy to get pearl river with my platoonmate. Then soon after I noticed that alooot of our teammates decided to go northwest too.

Spoiler

And then i was just simply enjoying the horde of tanks weewhooo.
Spoiler

Then the very first resistance comes from enemy team that opposes our blitzkrieg through pearl river. The King Tiger whom greed of 3x exp encourages him to charge at us bravely. I suspect we will become cannon fodder for him....

Spoiler

NO!
Spoiler

With first line of defense swiftly overcome.. I was high on adrenaline somehow, that king tiger getting blasted to pieces very fast hyped me up so much.
Spoiler

That death of King Tiger was a massive mistake of an 51%er because it looks like it made the rest of our team all hyped up as well! Ardor imploded.
And as our already large horde met the 2nd line of defense from enemy team.... Which only consists of..
Spoiler

And here it is! Third line of DEFENSE!
Three poor unforunate and terrified mediums E-50, Panther 2, and a T20 plus an occasional arty fire on enemy team directed to the heavy tank blitzkrieg. You can tell that they're deeply horrified by the way they took shelter behind rocks and bridges. Meanwhile, the heavy tank blitzkrieg just kept on rolling on ahead without stopping. Slower tanks like Tortoise is getting left behind in the valley.
Spoiler

And finally, BASE DEFENSE!
2nd VK4502P spend too much time doing nothing and protecting against ghosts and couldn't come to rescue in time.
Afk ELCAMX is dessert.
Arty got smashed because he got detected by us.
Random Amx 13 something got pummeled as he tried to reset cap.
FCM50T fighting an futile battle.
Two other lights battled against our patrolling lights.
Meanwhile the horde enjoyed the super fun fast victory.
Spoiler

This super fun blitzkrieg alone made up for a really bad weekend of solopubbing. I normally do ok in solopubbing but no, this time it was simply so bad that I need a platoonmate just to get my wins done.

Woo-Hoo! Hope ya all enjoy this report as I did XD

I played somewhere around 50 matcheds this weekend, I got Pearl River once and it was a disaster.
Great map, I really mean that!  Its just hard to enjoy it fully when 7 of your team camp out in teh center village while the other team caps you unchallenged.

Sometimes the noob-rush does work.

You find yourself looking at the map thinking "but the other flank, someone has to cover it" then remember the last time you got stuck on a flank by yourself you decide "fuck it, safety in numbers" and you hitch onto the lemming training.

The funny one will be when both teams try it on a map like pearl River if everyone (both teams) go counter clockwise. It would be like two dogs, both chasing the others tail.

Earlier, my team did almost the same thing. Our whole team went up north and none of there team did. So, we just capped there base. The game ended 1 min 15 sec after it started... lol

Had matches like that on it, and had matches where the slugfest in the N ended in mutual annihilation and the S decided it, and others where the action was pretty divided N and S....

Fun map... so many options! :)

The mid area of Pearl River is a retard check, had a game where the enemy team lost 3 T10s inside 2 mins cos they decided to hang in those buildings.

It's a nice map, but WG REALLY needs to get of their kick of having choke points. OPEN UP THE MAPS.  Plus we need a TRUE city map, block by block fighting.  No open areas, it's all city streets and full on brawling.

Nice map when you see it (many matches seen it 3 times)

but everyone needs to work the bugs out explore find the spots etc... it will suck for organized play till the META kicks in
