Yeah with the T34, it's kind of embarrassing going in a platoon with my IS4 and IS7 buddies. I'm like the guy with a pocket protector, and thick glasses at the playground. I hear the T30 is disappointing as well. What good is a big gun with no armor?

Did you even look at any of the stats before you posted?

1) T32 has 1550 hp w/second turret. NOT 1250.
2)Turrets  Armor:              T32 298/197/152   vs   T34  279/127/203
           Traverse:               28          vs          36
           View:                   460         vs          420
3)Guns     Penatration:        105mm 198       vs     120mm 248mm
           Damage                    360       vs          400
           ROF                       6-7.2     vs          6.2
           Accuracy                  .37       vs          .35
           Aim Time                  2         vs          2.3

Judging by these stats, the T34 is far better. Sure, T32 front turret is slightly better, but only slightly. T34s is pretty freaking awesome as well. The turret traverse on T34 is way, way better. To go with the 120mm which is far superior to the 105mm (way better pen, better damage, almost same ROF, better accuracy, slightly slower aim). Sorry, I just think you guys are going into the T34 thinking its going to be a huge jump in performance instead of easing into it as a slightly better tank as it really is.

sigh.. I still prefer the T32.. even IF it had 1250 hp..
played enough battles to judge it now.. it sucks, simple...
you need team support who knows what they are doing, and know your weak spots in order to give the right support.

the T34 IS a huge downgrade from the T32, in all aspects. nothing more to discuss, want to play it with its strength?? roll a TD.

I just bougth T 34 today and I have radio and 105 gun from my T -32 already.
I had 58 % win ratio with my T 32 , I think it is great tier 8 tank. I have 1-10 score with this crap, and I am thinking of selling it.
God, I can not wait for the soft wipe, this is really BS.
If you considering to get this tank , DON't! You will save lots of money and your nerves.
Heck I don't even have for repairs anymore FFS.

Well i have finally researched everything on this pile of crap, and was hopeful it would be more playable, no such luck..

Upgraded engine: now i get engine fires more often, don't think i had but one or two with stock.

Upgraded 120mm: Gets knocked out or the turret gets jammed 50% of the time.

This thing is just utterly terrible, if a module hasn't been taken out one of my crew members is prolly already dead...

Nevermind it's a T7 playing as a T9....

What FUKS me off the most is the number of games i play in order to bounce a shot.

Thats right.

Keeping track of bounces (using index fingers only for the most part) i bounce a shot on average every 3-4 games. Most games? bang bang bang DEAD. No bounce what so ever. Is this the mark of a tier 9 heavy tank? NO!

THATS FUKIN PATHETIC.

*end vent*

Playing alongside my IS-4 buddies they on average are 3x more survivable than the T34.

Anyone who slams the devs for bias is justified while this tank is in the game. Drop it to a tier 7 alternative to the T29 along with the T32 and T30.
American heavies should end at tier 7 till the M103 is in game.

Even then it should have 3000HP.

I will just say I have no problem with my T29, T32 and T34. With the T34 I can hold my own against IS-4 and IS-7. In fact against all tanks. I have learned how and what to do with the tanks and how to take on the IS-4. I'm about 86000 xp away from getting my T30 and I'll have all the US Heavies from M6 to T30. But so far I like all my US tanks. I also have the M4, Easy8 and the T23. But I like them because they fit me in the way I like to play them. But it is just my .02 cent.

I couldnt help but notice that your Mighty T34 does as much damage on average as your Tier8 IS-3 and tier7 T29

Interesting eh?

Hm I think I know how to fix this problem. The only solution is to buff IS-4 armor a bit more, since it has been 2 weeks already since some  russian tank has been buffed. :)

And now I just saw that T 30 has the same armor as T -34, LOL ?
102 mm at front side for tier X hvy? Panther II has 100 mm for example, so we are basicly driving medium tank and the crap one.

I was hoping that there will be a soft wipe, I think the only reason why devs don't want soft wipe is because no one would be so dumb to buy this tank again.

The US heavy line, suffers from having a tier 7 gun, the 105 mm, until the 2nd upgrade gun for the tier 9 tank, the 120 mm. The tier 7 tank, the t29, with the 105 mm gun, is a very competitive tank.

The t32 and t34 105 mm gun should get slight penetration and damage increases for their respective tiers.

If there are no improvements to the competitiveness of the upper tier US heavies, then I doubt anyone will use them when the game goes live.

After 35 games played ( with only 14 wins) I decided that I will not play this piece of crap anymore. No matter how I try to hide, everyone just hitting me like a piece of paper. And I can not penetrate anything above tier 8. I will not sell it yet, I am hoping that they will buff it somehow , or maybe there will be a softwipe.
I think that this is the worse tank in game by far!

I couldn't agree more and going into a hull down position to hide the toilet paper armour does not make any difference as it does with the T32. 70k more until I get the T30 and that is going to be a bad joke as well as I can see from the specs. I for one definitly won't go US tanks when the game goes retail unless there are some major improvements.

T32->T34 Pros and cons:

+Better gun (which is still worse than in any other tier9 tank)
+Turret traverse
+350 health

-Much worse hull armor (if someone shoots ur hull, its going in)
-Turret armor 298/197/152 vs 279/127/203 (why would i want armor on back of the turret)
-View range 460 vs 420 (wtf)
-Slower accelerate
-Higher tier/bigger repair/bigger opponents
-Larger (more difficult to hide)

Update:
-Almost always takes full damage from arty, i feel bad for t34 shooting 50% away with su-8
-BIGGER turret with lots of weakspots

In conclusion it feels like a big downgrade, but i have only played 40 matches with it so i'll keep testing more.
Hoping the experience gets better after unlocking the gun and motor.
Now i have 41% win with it. With T32 in 400 matches i had 68% win.

y o fecking y would the devs even think of making the t34 a heavy tank, i have been killed so dam quickly in most game that i don't even get a second shot of, and i'm pretty much making about 5k-10k lose in credits unless it was a overwhelming victory. i've tried to hull down but it just get munched by arty. only time i ever happen to gd well is when a friendly tank or enemy tank wreck happens to have died in a perfect spot for me to use.

I love fighting US heavy in my Sherman E8, I can penetrate them anywhere. =D but then I remember I have a T29. =x. I don't intend to go beyond T29 anyway, not too interested in having a tank higher than tier8.

The rear of the turret has a huge counterweight, hence why there is so much rear armor

The US doesn't suffer from the 105 in tier VII.
The US benefits from getting a gun a tier early similar to the ones the Soviets and Germans get on their tier VIII heavies.

IT's what makes the T29 such a killer.
Now, a slightly improved version for the T32 off the Pershing is ok too I think.
The US line should have slightly better firepower per tier to make up for the lack of strong hull armor.
