How are tier 8 premiums (Lowes, T34s, and IS6s) good for grinding credits? I have personally never bought a tank from the WoT store, so I don't really know how these tanks are good for grinding credits. Someone in-game told me the Lowe is good for grinding credits because it can snipe well.. but I'd like a bit more in-depth description of why they are good for grinding credits.

You do realize there is a thread STILL on the front page discussing this in great detail correct?

Edit: Forgive me, it is not on the front page. You kicked it off  :sceptic:

They get a boost in credits, along with less repair cost

Ammo is cheap, cost little to nothing to repair, tell me if i'm wrong but i THINK, THINK they have a credit and xp boost.

I recently had a 3500 damage loss in my Type 59. 53k gross credits (with a premium account it would have been about 80k) with 13k in repairs/shells.

Less repair costs, ammo costs and increased creditearning in battles. Not to forget they also build convert xp which can later be used to ease the grind on ur future tanks, that is if ur willing to spend gold to convert the xp into free xp. Dont think the tanks are better than others of its tier.. Most of the times theyre not or the player makes them great or shit.

I personally own the Lowe and the T34.. it totally depends on ur playstyle. I loved the Lowe when i first got it, coz i was into sniping, nowadays my style changed and i like to get it on the fight. The T34 is alright for that i spose.
If i can be totally honest, i wish i hadnt bought the Lowe.. Its pretty weak.
The IS6 and Jagdtiger 88 are also alot of fun, so again, depends on ur playstyle :)

You don't have to win the match to get nice credits most of the times, here is one from me :)

Most Premium T8 tanks get a 50% credit boost over the standard tanks on the same tier.  They are all great credit earners, so you have to find the one that matches your play style.  For example, the Super Pershing makes a lot of money for some people, but it didn't fit my style at all, and I saw 90-100k battles once every 20 battles or so.  I averaged about 20k a battle, which isn't good.  My JT8.8 sees 100k battles every 5 battles or so, and I average about 50k a battle or better.  Its a much better fit for me.

Be careful with tanks like the IS-6, SU-122-44 and other "big gun" tanks, because the ammo will cost you.  You will still make great money, but the JT8.8 and SP cost about 250 credits per round, and the others cost over 1000 credits per round, which eats some of the profits.  They still make a lot of money though.

Also be aware that Premiums balance bad and good, so while I make a lot of credits with the JT 8.8, I really have to be careful where I set it up, because its VERY slow and very soft on the top and sides.  Once I figured out how to place it best, I began to do well, but it was a learning experience.  Between the JT and SP, I found that that extra 20+ pen on the JTs gun really made a huge difference.  Rather than bouncing 50% of my shots like the SP, I am penning 80-90% of all my shots.  That makes a HUGE difference in the credit earning ability, and also makes it fun :).

They will all earn you credits even if you lose.  I prefer the IS6 since it is more of a brawler.

Besides, my JT 8,8 is so good at making money :3 matches with 80k-100k are not rare with it, just put like 3k damage.

as mentioned above, Tier 8 premiums have a credit multiplier, favorable matchmaking and low repair costs.
Having a premium tank or account ( real $) is rewarded with extra credit and xp in game.

the premium tanks now on sale are however not as good as researched tanks since they dont want you to buy pwnage.

also since each tier is much harder than the previous tier you are best served by buying a premium tank at the point you are researched at or below.

If you buy a premium tank above your researched tier you will not have the experience to play at that level. You will be disappointed with it and how easily everyone else who already knows its weakness will take advantage. Most people with low win rates in these tanks (48% or less) is because they were not ready for that tier (in terms of game experience, map experience, and crew skills amongst them)
