The BDR G1B is such a fun little tier V.  It's like a derp M4 that's balanced and makes me monies!  Definitely a keeper.

I enjoyed playing mine... for the hour or two I had it. It's great gun allows it to pop out and smack someone for a good chunk of their hp with ease.

Edit: Be on earlier tomorrow and I'll help you. Seen your message pop up as I was getting off.

I like it.  The high alpha/long reload keeps it safe.

I really, really enjoyed the BDR. But hard to say my fav. tier 5 heavy, since the Chruchill I is really fun now, and have some other favs. But I loved the best cannon on it, and hate when people say it sucks. You just can't use its armor like the KV-1, that's all.

Mutant football LOL

The BDR was a fun tank, but every teir V heavy has it's good assets, the KV-1 for example has very good armor, but the KV-1 has that good armor from the moment you buy it. The BDR's good asset is that 90mm DCA 30, which you have to work for. Still, it's a great tank when fully upgraded. (but only the 90mm carries over to the ARL 44- essentially starting the grind again from scratch.)

I called mine the Potato Tank  :teethhappy:

Its on my list for the Tier 5 slot in my garage once the era of 105 derps is over. Had to sell it when HEAT was sold for credits, but it was tied for my fav 5 with the KV-1 before that.

I really hated it during the grind and really liked it once it was fully upgraded.  The upgraded tank is a decent sniper with that 90mm.  The armor sucks though.  I remember one battle where my loader got killed and I got ammo racked.  I had to basically ram the last 3 tanks (2 arties and a medium) to death, but won the battle and got a TG.  All my dead team mates were watching and laughing hysterically.

I had a blast with this tank. I found it to be a great counter to 105 derps because of the range. Almost kept it in the garage because it was fun and made a lot of credits but I couldn't stand the tumor on the top of the turret always sticking out and getting shot. ARL 44 is quite a beast if you intead to move on.

This?

Perhaps I was lost in another world, anytime I've encountered one of these on the battlefield they were easy kills and I was immune to them.

Yeah, it doesn't stack up to the derps.  It's still fun and I plan on keeping it to train fresh French crews do to low tier and the great credit multiplier.

Was a definite nice point on French line when i got to it but honestly after KV-1 and even T1 its a mighty squishy heavy.

That's okay!  In low tiers I have so many meat shields to use.

It's great, though I have retired mine pending the nerf of derp in 8.6.

BDR G1B isn't little at all; it is taller than T1 for France sake.

With 90mm it is ok, but imo it is too static.

Current
Spoiler

In a post I made a few moths ago (When I was showing it off a while ago, it impressed cwj I think.):
Spoiler

To think not just a few months ago I had only the BDR and S-35 CA to comfort me, now I have the Tier 7 TD, ELC AMX, and AMX 50 100 and I still kept this gem.

Love BDR forever <3
