Big Changes Coming With the 8.6 Update

So increasing the accuracy of all guns, hmmm more point and hit, more arcade-like perhaps? Still a somewhat neutral change since it seems to equally effect everyone. Will be interesting to see the effects of this in gameplay.
Nerfing HEAT? On some tanks this is called for, on others like the top of the line Brit TD, its already a POS and now its nerfed more. Get back to non-premium shells being the main ones and having premium (gold rounds) be only for CW or eliminate them entirely.
Changing the cammo effects? In some ways this is more than called for in that a base level of cammo vs a multiplier is clearly needed (although I believe that a base level and combined multiplier with a negative log effect would be most effective), however decreasing the cammo effect of bushes and trees is blatant money grabbing. Now buying cammo and cammo patterns and researching cammo skill will mean much larger returns and using the map will have lessor effects. WG has just decreased the effect of bushes and trees, the typical cammo areas which are fully realistic and increased the cammo effect of the less realistic items. Now hiding in the relative open will be a much more viable option than before. NOT the effect that the community was looking for at ALL.

If you break down the math of it all, the more inaccurate your gun is the bigger a buff you are receiving here. So Russian super inaccurate guns will be becoming a lot more accurate, and guns on lets say the Leo 1 will see very little benefit. Though I'm glad for any removal of gratuitous RNG.
not really. dispersion and accuracy are 2 different things. in fact, one of my most inaccurate guns ever was the german 75 mm L100. 0.32 accuracy on papper, but the shell was going almost all the time on the edges of the sniping circle, which ment that, when sniping on great distances, or against small targets, the chances of hitting them was very low

Don't like the accuracy changes. Now it's all coming down to player skill and your crew gunnery skills won't matter much. Currently it's a nice blend of player skill and crew skill. If your gunner stinks, you can't effectively snipe at a distance or fire on the move, so you take that into account in your tactics. With these new changes you can pretty much just do what you want.

The benefits will be seen by skilled players too. Honestly, why the dispersion was ever the way it was in the first place is beyond me, it wasn't really a balancing mechanic it simply reduced the importance of your skill when firing a shot. Zeroing a shot on an enemy's rear, holding that zero for a couple seconds, firing and shooting 2 meters to the left isn't a problem with your skill, it's just BS.
As with all the other changes good work WG. People fail to realize there will be a test server to test these mechanics before 8.6 releases, anything you think will ruin the game will most likely not end up being that way.

Make sure the arty nerfs are good, and strong.
Otherwise you will continue to bleed players from how overpowered and ridiculous arty is.

you have effectly taken the fun out of the game already by increasing the accuracy of the present arty.
i don't really care if the arty guys get butt hurt by decreasing there accuracy.
this is world of tanks not world of arty.
since the increase i have found many player that i have known over time have reduced there amount of game play because of the way arty works now, so your going to feel ok losing players because your not addressing the problem with the accuracy of the atillery.
there ability to one shot tanks is not an issue, it's arty being able to do it with only one shot, the majority of the time is the problem.
i have found myself losing my fondness for the game, because i'm getting killed by 3, 4, and 5 gun units of artillery, at the begining of the game. arty is good for game play, but the numbers need to be reduced, there accuracy needs to be reduced, and having the choice of have arty in the game needs to be added.

They need to add new maps. Game is getting repetitive and boring....Especially when playing Malinovka or Erlenberg 10 times a day. I've fallen asleep on these maps more than once. El Halluf and Redshire have serious design flaws as well.

In my opinion, if I buy a camouflage net, I think it would be cool if there was really an actual camouflage net on my tank for decoration and to look like it blends in more.
