We will send this tournament's winning team to Minsk to join us in celebrating our 15th anniversary.
Please note that elo scoring will not be used in this tournament format. World of Tanks Championship Series teams are seeded in the opening around according to their rank at the end of regular season play.

Tier Limits
With maximum number of 7 players per battle, a team (and a maximum of 10 team members) must field a selection of tanks based on the below tier limits. Teams are also limited to a maximum total of 42 tier points.
  • Heavy: 8
  • Medium: 8
  • Light: 8
  • TD: 8
  • SPG: 8
There are no other restrictions to battle lineups.

Victory Conditions
  • 3 points are granted for a win, 1 point for a tie, 0 points for a loss.
  • The draw rule will not be in effect.
  • Each battle will last 10 minutes max.
  • The top team in each group, at the end of Round 1, advances to the next round. The rules for advancing in subsequent rounds will be published after registration closes.
  • Teams are seeded into the playoffs according to the total number of points in previous stages.
The Standard battle mode will be used for this tournament.

Schedule

The complete schedule will be provided at the close of registration, after the final team count has been determined. Rounds will begin at  6:30PM PST (9:30PM EST, 01:30 UTC the following day). Curious what time this is in your region? Use this handy Time Zone Converter to help you out!
  • Qualifiers R1: May 27th

Memorial day start date?  Might want to push it a day.  Also make sure you don't conflict with nvidia on the Thursday.

Spoiler

Congrats on discovering the standard 7/42 tournament style.  Currently the premier format for international tournaments, and has been proven to be fine.

Due to the special nature of these prizes, every participant must be eligible to take part in this tournament. These requirements are as follows.
Have a valid passport and the passport must be valid at least until the end of November 2013.
Be eligible for a visa to Belarus.
Be willing to provide Wargaming.net with any and all information, as well as a 35 x 45 mm up to date photograph that's necessary to obtain a visa to enter Belarus. This information will only be requested after winners are determined.
Be at least 18 years of age.

So will wgna verify each participant for the above? seems tough broh.

NOTE: Only 64 teams will be allowed to participate and will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.
why is this restriction only for for this server ?

its a typo, right? this is a very important tournament, this is not a common skirmish kind to be limited for only 64 teams....

CURSE YOU WARGAMING!

You have to pick the ONE WEEK I could not possibly squeeze in tank time due to having to drive across the country for my best friend's wedding and rehearsal!  I would have dominated this tournament!

This tournament should not be limited to 64 teams and as holakc said, it is not a ''normal'' skirmish.

It's a specification that applies to the winning team. The winning team needs to have all the above in order to be eligible for the grand prize.

Yes, this is a typo. Kindly point me to it so that I may zap it away
