Hellcat. The armour of the jackson is only really relevant against tier 6 and below. Speed is always useful.

jackason = more armor less speed slightly more dmg

hellkitty = less armor more speed same dmg as t49

Hellkitty - fast, good gun (same as Jackson), nice sniper

It's really a nice all around tank.

Never played the jackson, but even with that being said Hellcat all the way.  Superb machine even though it has zero armor, but if you're playing it correctly you shouldn't even be taking any damage.
And you can do things like this...
Spoiler

On a side note I can't wait for next patch just for the 33%xp bonus to TDs damage, I'll definitely play the hellcat a lot more then.

jackson's good but it can't run away.

if you go hellcat, rammer gun laying drive and camo net for situations where bush sitting is a good idea.

if you go jackson rammer binocs or gld and camo. you'll be doing much more bush sitting than you would in a hellcat due to its speed. however it actually has armor and can be useful in some occasions so somtimes its better to just support your heavies.

Hellcat positions better and hides better.

That's everything you could ask for out of a TD.

They are both great but because the Hellcat can use in game the 90mm I think its a little bit better because the armor on the slugger or jackson or what ever you want to call it isnt that good

Well i gauge it by how it does against my T-34-85. A hellcat gets owned just because of that armor not being able to take a hit from me just switch to HE rounds and its gone in 2 hits 3 max from my 34-85. The jackson on the other hand bounces shots from me from the front so I choose Jackson but just my opinion

kitty if u have some experience with tanks with 0 armor, because speed and cammo helps a lot with tds. jackson is an inferior choise but is more user friendly so get this one first

Jackson is better for newer players as newer players typically use speed to get themselves into trouble more often then saving their but. But the 'extra' armor of the jackson is a joke so it is inferior to the Hellcat.

Use the Hellcat for what it was designed for...TD, get the 90 mm, and you are to be feared.

The main thing you have to ask is do you want to run a turreted TD or a non. The Hellcat leads to the high tier turreted TDs while the Jackson leads to the non turreted. Right now it seems the turreted TD line seems to be more effective. So I would go with the Hellcat.

If your hitting a hellcat 2 or 3 times the hellcat is doing it wrong. The hellcat is a shoot and scoot machine. No way it should try to go toe to toe with a 34-85.

The Jackson is great, the extra armor does help & it still has decant mobility. Im not joking, IMO it's the best teir 6.

The additional armor on the Jackson is in a very small area on the front, not the entire front of the Jackson.  When you take that into consideration, its really not much different than the M18 Hellcat and the Jackson is slower.  THe M18 is able to reposition quciker and its able to move from one side of the map tot he other quicker to reinforce weak areas.
