Xbox does not allow mod's to be run on their console, Epic Games went through a huge battle to get them added for UT3, they did not succeed.
PS3 is another story, UT3 on the PS3 allowed mod's to be run.

My bad, i don't elaborate more, i was talking about the PC version. I hope that WG don't remove that option from the PC version to make it easier to develop both version the same way.

Not the best thing they've come up with. I wouldn't even want a PS3 version. But as long as they keep the Microsoft brats away from our servers, I'll be perfectly content

The console is going to be outdated by christmas, it's going to be separate servers and separate accounts so no existing players are going to want to play it... Who do they expect to play this game in 12 months time when all the old xbox players go with playstation 4 (along with all the ps3 players)? Don't know about anyone else but my house won't even pay for the xbox's internet service to play games online, so the thing has been a paperweight for the past year or two.. EVERY other console it's free to play over the internet. This was not a well thought out business decision. If the accounts were the same and the servers were the same cross platform, then at least I could see people playing this for a while before abandoning their xbox....

Pretty much the opposite experience of everyone I know... I only know a few people who play PS3 anything anymore. Our PS3 has only been playing BR for the past couple/few years and most folks I know use XBox360 almost daily.

lol I can add this to the things WG said they would never do and then did.

but anyways, I won't bother with it. I've invested too much into the PC game, and console gaming is full of 5 year olds, and I don't want to regrind tanks, and I don't want to pay for xbox live membership, and-
well anyways. I don't see any huge problem with this. It's on separate servers, so it won't affect us.

That trailer was amazing though. Loved it.

World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition is Free-to-Play with Gold**.

**The World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition is a Free-to-Play with Gold game, providing unlimited gameplay for Xbox Live Gold members. A limited-time trial of the full game will be available for Xbox Live account holders at the time of the official launch.  Additional in-game content will be available and sold separately at time of the official full game launch.

BOO! WG, we can do it for free on the PC but you force us to pay on the Xbox...sad.

I think that's more of a Microsoft issue.  Microsoft forces a lot of it's multiplayer games through Live Gold.

Just.. No. Microsoft is crapping on it's customers in every facet across the board: Windows 8, Office 13/365, Tech Support in general, XBOX 1, and now Wargaming decides to team up with that? What the hell. Not a good business decision.

WG's been doing the same for a while now, Where the hell have you been?

Hello Tankers!

Guess the cats out of the bag on my future product! ;)

Just some quick FAQs for y'all:

Will PC and Xbox players be playing on the same servers?
No, the game has been redone for the Xbox 360 console. PC players and Xbox players will not compete against each other.

Does your account carry over?
You will have to have a Xbox Live Gold account in order to play World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition. Your account will not carry over from PC.

Will this be released on any other consoles?
World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition is just that. An exclusive game for the Xbox 360 console.

Where can I sign up for BETA?
https://wt360e.com/join_obt/new/

We already have the website up and running as well for you all to check out. www.wt360e.com

Now Roll Out!

My only concern here is if WG is going to continue to produce two SEPARATE versions of the game and not go the way of companies like EA and produce a console title and port it to PC.  If WG plans on porting to save development costs, I won't be playing tanks for much longer.  I quit the Battlefield series for this reason alone.  Building a game for console and porting to work on PC severely limits what developers can do with a game because consoles are so far behind PCs from a technical standpoint.  Please WG, don't ruin a pretty good game in the name of porting to save costs.
Most likely there is another development team to bring the 360 version up to date, as that is the best way to make a ame on multiple systems, and have the usual dev team working as normal... so dont worry

I agree. EA is where games go to die.

Can NOT see this going well. Too many idiot kids added to the player base.

Can see it now, the rage fits from 10 year olds.

I won't be taking part, because no Ecksbawks Live any more and the 360's pubscrubs and baddies will probably be even worse than the PC's pubscrubs and baddies.

No worries PC Tankers, the Xbox 360 edition is being developed by our Wargaming West studio and will not affect development of the PC version.

Everyone is so quick to judge, yet no one has any experience playing it on xbox yet.  I am excited for it, and I signed up for the Beta instantly.

It would be sweet if all your tanks/gear carried over from the PC side, and the accounts were linked.  It's a long grind getting all your tanks back.  At the same time, starting fresh will allow you to start anew, and hopefully not make the same mistakes.

Another thing to note is, for the people that have slow computers, the Xbox version will remedy this.  I have to play on lower settings on PC, so hopefully I can see WoT in shinier graphics on my xbox.

Why isn't it going to PS3 I think PS3 is better because it is free to play online and you get basically all the same things but that is just one question I still agree that I would like to have separate servers or it would be unfair for the fact that xbox controllers are easier to use than a keyboard because there are less unused buttons
