Hi all,
I recently have had my WoT client acting a bit oddly. When I launch the WoT client through the launcher (where it checks for updates, and you have to press the 'Play' button for it to launch the actual WoT client), the WoT client briefly activates, and subsequently closes before the actual logon screen (it freezes approximately at the 80% mark of the 'Loading... Please Wait...' portion of the client launch/initiation). This problem has only exhibited itself today, with the client working flawlessly yesterday. No changes to the PC software (drivers, windows updates, or otherwise) have been made. I have a feeling the SSD garbage collection/TRIM process may have corrupted the client; however, I cannot find the option to repair the WoT install from 'Add/Remove Programs', or the WoT launcher. Is there any method of repairing the install without having to reinstall for a second time? Thank you for your time.

TL;DR: I want to know if there is a way to the repair my WoT install without having to uninstall, download, and reinstall it a second time.

No mods installed. I play WoT as vanilla as it can possibly get.

In the WoT Directory create a shortcut for the WoTLauncher.

Right click on the shortcut and go to properties.

In the Target box go to the right (DONT REMOVE ANYTHING)

and add -integrity    to the end.

This will force an integrity check on the client and download any missing / corrupted files.

Ahh, thank you. That worked! Just in time too might I add, as I was already downloading the entire WoT install again. Saved me some time and bandwidth, thanks!

I also had the same above discussed problem and first Canio22's "Fix" instructions didn't work for me either but then I realised that i had not followed his instructions to 100%

PLEASE! Remember to add a "space" before the "-integrity" then it worked FINE in my computer!

Hope you get it working and Big Thanks to Canio22 also from me!

Same here. It was working fine 2 days ago with mods, then i went to load in and right before the login, it crashes. I even removed all mods, and ....crashes still. No changes were made, no improper PC shutdown, etc. Had to reinstall everything, even added mods and it worked fine. Now, i get back on 5 hours later and same thing. thankfully i saved original image to my server, just gotta wait 7 minutes to copy over, but man is this getting annoying.

SOLUTION:
ok, bear with me. This fix applies to players utilizing Teamspeak as their voice comms:

ok, so here's the situation. if you have experienced this since the TS update, follow instructions below:
Symptom: User turns on teamspeak and then launches WOT. WOT gets to approx 90% loaded on the loading bar screen and crashes before login.
Solution:
Disable TS overlay and plugins. To do this,
1. Open teamspeak
2. go to settings, then plugins.
3. Uncheck every plugin including the overlay, then hit "reload all"
4. Close plugins window and start WOT as normal.
Any other issues, let me know. Will be sending this to WG also so they are aware.

The -integrity switch will not work if the url is unavailable.
So we can stop offering up that solution.

Assume we have multiple ports:
My config:

<launcher_transport>3</launcher_transport>
<torrent_ports_begin>6881</torrent_ports_begin>

The problem may be confined to those with the above.

QUESTION:

If u reinstall will menu > settings > graphics
return to default  auto-detect?

The -integrity applies changes but continues to crash at 80%.

I also changed graphic settings just prior to the crash problems.

Thank you in advance...
