i recently rebought my jagdpanther again but i am waiting to play it until the 50% retraining discount tommorow but in the mean time i just like to know what gun i should use, i used the 10.5 a long time ago but i don't know now since i think there were changes( im unsure)
Should i use the 8.8 L/71 or the 10.5 L/52, im probley leaning toward the 10.5. just like to know what you prefer.

The 88 has like a five second reload, with rammer, 100% crew, and I THINK vents.

So I'd say you should use the 88, for the rate of fire, which gives a better DPM. And the 105 really only has the alpha.

I used both the 88 and 105. use the 105 you want to take the target as fast as you can and reload helps with heavily armored tanks and the jagdpanther can take some hits but not tier 9s and the 105 will save you at times.

10.5 with rammer only (plus binos and camo) and 100% crew is around 7.6 secs from memory

Once I switched to it from the 8.8, I won't go back.
The 10.5 is a permanent fixture, as much as the JP itself will always live in my garage.

I really liked the ROF with the 88mm...but when you get in a tight spot, that 105mm was great. Stick with the 105mm.

I use 105mm in my Jpanther. I love it. With help from BiA,Vents,Hammer, it fires every 6.7 seconds.

All depends on your playstyle man. I did my best using the 8.8cm L/71 due to the higher rate of fire. I ended up with a 7 kill match in a tier 9 game with over 4000 damage done due to my ability to hop from one target to the next. The accuracy in addition to the rate of fire and decent alpha damage, makes the 8.8cm a great weapon to use. Unfortunately, it takes more shots to kill than the 10.5cm L/52. That being said, here's what I recommend.

If you like to snipe from a bush at very long ranges, and you like to get as many shots into your enemy as possible, use the 8.8cm L/71.
If you like to get in a little close, and you like to get more damage off with less rounds. Use the 10.5cm L/52

Both guns are a good choice. The 10.5cm has costly ammunition, but makes up for it with its lightning fast aim time, and very good rate of fire. The 8.8cm sacrifices aim time for better accuracy and a cheaper ammo cost. The higher rate of fire lets you punish unsuspecting opponents who dare to sit in front of you.

So, really, it's a matter of personal choice! Both guns do practically the same job.

I use the 88 for the better rate of fire and cost of ammo.

The Jagdpanther is my favorite tank, so if you're running premium then the 105 is the only way to go.

If you're a sniper, L/71. If you're a brawling assault gun, L/52.

I am an 88 L/71 man myself.  It seems to find those weakpoints at range a bit better than the 105.  Reload is quicker and the ammo cost is far less, so a bounce/miss/non-pen isn't as costly in time or credits.

I use the 88, can't stand the 105, it just doesn't work for me.

105mm over 88mm, ANYDAY. The 300 alpha is just perfect against T7-T8.

105.

aim faster, hit harder = less exposure time to deal similar dmg. also being able to finish off higher HP opponents so they cannot shoot back at you is important
