this is a question about pre-order tanks

with the opening of open beta for world of warplanes pre-order planes is introduce and said "While the aircraft above are exclusively available via these bundles, they may become available to other players after a year from the World of Warplanes release date"
I know both games have two different developers and might have two different ways

do you think WG going to change they mind about pre order tank being sold to public?

From what I hear, WGNA tried selling pre-order tanks once after the pre-order timeframe

It was a sh**storm. So no

Anything is possible, if people want to spend their money on these tanks I don't see any good reason why they should prevent it.  I think this is even true of the Type 59 I see so many games that there isn't even one in the line up if they released them right now for a few days you would see many and then it would just return to normal after all you have to run your regular tanks to progress anywhere.

Isn't this WG's game? Is there a legal reason they can't sell what they want? Doesn't the free enterprise system apply here?

If they do release those pre-order tanks, it won't be anytime soon. They had them up for sale with gold packages for less than 24 hours last time. All the people who pre-ordered and got those tanks cried the hugest fowl this game has ever seen. WG took them down straight away. The thing is, if those tanks are so great (they aren't really) then why don't you see more of them? When was the last time you saw an A-32? I think I have seen two in 16,000 battles. It was all about those people feeling special - great job at being a part of the community! /sarcasm.

Russian server was already considered live, so does not apply to them. This offer applied to EU/NA servers only at the time. Are they available on SEA/China servers?

Saw one a few days ago. First to die as he made a bee line to the other team  ....

They were part of the launch gift shop packages on SEA (now ASIA). None of the pre-order tanks had ever been on sale on SEA/ASIA since then, but as far as I can recall WG didn't make the same mistake by saying they'll never sell it again for SEA/ASIA region. Who knows, maybe they'll put it on limited offer or as a reward tank. Doesn't seem very likely at the moment, but the probability is not zero like it is for NA/EU server.

Legally, no there's nothing barring them from selling them

But when WGNA put the M6 for sale, the community apparently exploded

you have to remember that the customer comes first. no customer no money. Its what sony did with SWG. They made it so that you could be a jedi off the bat and they lost most of there core players.

I'm not one of them but in all fairness there is a video of Victor (CEO of WG) stating unequivocally that the pre-order tanks will never be sold again. When they introduced the gift shop, they had the pre-order tanks and several of those players who bought the pre-order package complained and put the video up of Victor making that promise. Those tanks lasted about an hour before WG pulled them.

As I suspect that promise was made in launching the NA server, the promise was likely never made in Russia, or they just don't care.

LOL I find this funny. Politicians lie all the time (even when video evidence shows the complete opposite), Wal-Mart will change their "story" to suit their needs. So WG is going to hold the line...interesting....I want to see how this turns out....

I was one of the lucky few when they were in the gift shop for 4 hours. FOUR. The way it worked was you purchased one of their 100 dollar gold packages and one of those tanks came along with it.

I got the Panzer V/IV, and when I drove to work, I had decided to get the M6A2E1 as well, but by the time I got there, they were already removed.

What they could have done is sell them, but give pre-order people a unique camo pattern that they would be allowed to use on ANY TANK of their choosing instead of just the one tank they almost never play. This way they truly "look" unique and can use it anywhere they want.

If they ever get over their forum fear of armchair lawyers and hire a community manager that answers questions like SerB with "How terrible..." when he doesn't want to deal with trolls (I'm available for that position btw! *wink*), and they offer them up again, I'll be all over it like white on rice, in a glass of milk, in the middle of a blizzard.

It's just ridiculous that a business enterprise can be kidnaped by a bunch of lumpen teens that will not pay never, ever EVER a single penny and will do nothing for keeping the game alive. Shame on WG for allowing this to be already happening.
