First time using the forum; not exactly sure where I should post this, but I guess this is a sorta basic starter question.
  • Is crew XP equal to the amount of XP earned in a match?
  • If so, is crew XP altered in any way by modifiers based on performance?
  • And is the amount of crew XP gained per match modified based on whether you live or die/if crew members are knocked out or not?
  • How much crew XP is needed to get from 50% to 100%, and from 75% to 100%?
  • Does this number increase by tier?
Thanks in advance.

1.The crew xp is divided with the crew. If accel crew training is on one crew member gets it, plus crew xp.

2.Yes (x2, premium, elited tank, premium tank)

3. Crew members should get xp regardless of their battle status.

4. Check crew members tabs, should be listed there.

5. Unsure, never really looked into it. My guess though is yes, but not as much as you would think.

This is what I'm going to answer with, but I may be incorrect. I never really looked into crew skills and xp.

Dead crew gets 50% xp , the entire crew gets xp = to what you earned in battle ( look at your crew total xp > write it down and run a battle....they each get the same amount. Elite tank acceleration gives the lowest xp crew 2x each battle > there's a little gold house that moves from crew to crew the guy with the house gets double. Training the commander in Mentor skill gives everyone but the commander 1% more xp per each 10% of mentor up to 10% and that is also doubled by acceleration. Also for skills > the amount needed double for each skill 1x for skill 1 , 2x for 2 , 4x for 3, 8x for 4 and 16x for 5...

1.The crew XP is divided between the crew members and is equal to match xp if the option to accel crew traning is on, otherwise they get a percent of match XP.

2.Yes (x2, premium, elited tank, premium tank)

3. If they die they get as much as they would till they died

4. Check crew members tabs, should be listed there.

5. No the amount of Xp needed to get them up does not change based on tier but does increase based on skills, IE 2nd skill takes twice as long as 1st skill

This is what I'm going to answer with, but I may be incorrect. I never really looked into crew skills and xp.

its not split up, if the tank gets 1k exc every member will get 1k too, but its its elite then the lowest guy gets 2k

1) All crew members receive the same amount of experience than the normal one received in the match. Additionally, if the "Accelerate crew training" option is on, the least experienced member receives twice the exp each battle. This means an increase of (100/x) percent of the rate at which the crew is trained, with "x" being your number of crew members. For example, with 3 crew members, it means you'll train 100/3 = 33% faster.
2) No, it is equal to the amount that you received in battle. The amount you receive in battle can be affected by premium and such bonuses. As a general rule, if it doesn't affect the experience you get for the battle, it doesn't affect the experience your crew gets. The exception is special weekend events where crew exp in particular is assigned a modifier (x2, x3, etc.).
3) That's an interesting question. If a crew member gets knocked out, it's supposed to receive 50% of the experience. However, this does NOT count the fact that they are all knocked out if you die. It only counts if a critical shot hurt them.
4) From 50 to 100, 95483 exp. From 75 to 100, 72543. Note that the curve is exponential, that's why the majority of the experience needed is allocated in the last part of the curve. In other words, the closer you get to 100%, the more difficult it becomes to get the next percentage point. You can calculate other values using the forumula in the wiki.
5) No.

Boy, that is an understatement. It drags on for freakin' ever. And that brings me to a question I have for the group here: I acquired the M40/43 SPG after the update. I can't remember how it happened, but somehow I got 5 dialed crew members in there and one who was lagging way behind. Now I have five crew with 100% BiA and 30% of their 2nd skill, and the sixth one at only 91% of BiA. Which of course means BiA is useless until he hits 100%. And like you said, the exponent is ridiculous, and since SPG's still don't see the same level of xp per battle that tanks do, it's going to be quite awhile. Since there are no premium SPG's, would I be able to put him in a premium heavy, pay gold to get him back to 100% then use the premium plus the accel training to move his skill up faster? Then move him back to the SPG and pay the gold again to put him back to 100%? Secondly, under normal circumstances, does the training that happens in a premium tank, with accel on, happen faster then in an elite tank with accel on? I ask because I do have another SPG that is elited. I could move the loader on that one out and bring the other one in to move him up. What are your thoughts?
