I don't know if a 37mm would be sufficient for a premium TD though. And historically, the PaK 35/36 37mm was the only gun mounted like that. Perhaps the T-26 mit 75mm PaK 97/38 might be a better premium choice for Tier 2.

Perhaps we could just give it some sort of special MM, like the PzI gets.

We could, but since it's a Tier 2 TD, I'd think a little more firepower would be in order. Wargaming for some reason doesn't like giving premium vehicles ahistorical armament, which is why a lot of them are one-offs or prototypes/special projects, as production vehicles tended to have lots of upgrades and such.

For now, I wouldn't worry about it so much, as low tier TDs for Hungary aren't an issue. Between what the Hungarians themselves had, and what the Germans made, we can hammer out the TD line without much trouble. The only book I have on Hungarian armor only deals with foreign vehicles Hungary operated, including the Panzerjäger R35, which would also make for a decent Tier 2 TD. So we do have options. Speaking of things though, do you have any more info on the Nimrod 80mm? Information is almost non-existent on the web.

Saw it mentioned in the comments section of an FTR article, which is in the source list. More or less,  a 80mm Bofors(a cousin of the German 88mm L/56)  mounted in a Nimrod. Considering how much the would have overloaded the chassis, it's no wonder why the Hungarians never took it further. I gave it an engine it never had irl to try to give it some sort of mobility.

That looks like it would be difficult to operate. Luckily that doesn't matter for this game. :P

Although I'm thinking, if we wanted to, we could keep the normal Nimrod at Tier 3 and then the Toldi Marder at Tier 4 would have access to this gun. That would leave the 80mm Nimrod as a premium Tier 4 vehicle.

Have you got any penetration stats on the gun options for the Nimrod?

I want that in the game.  Then again, I was the Ram 3.7-inch (as a TD) in the game too.

Possibly. I would rather have someone from WG state which was easier, but that could work.

Thank you, can you give me a source for the stats as well please and is that a 90 degree plate or angled?
The figures for the 40mm shells give it comparable performance to the German APC Pz.Gr.36(t) 47mm rounds

Yeah, it's in the source list, somewhere. Give me a sec and I'll check which one
Edit: It's #14
Edit2: And sadly, I don't know the angle of the plate, so I'm just going to assume so...

I've been thinking, what would it take for the normal Nimrod to operate the Bofors 80mm? Because I'm thinking that could be an upgrade option for the normal Nimrod instead.
