How terrible.

I've seen multiple games that utilize updaters that have issues with any system that has IE 10 installed on it... means bad things for Windows 8 machines.

What's this "Other Tank Game?"

Its a game that doesn't actually have tanks yet.

Ok... I guess that is that second best tank game of all time (the best, in my opinion, being M1A1 Tank Platoon 2).

I can almost guarantee the problem is an ID 10 T issue on your end bro. Check your PC

Only time I've encountered such an issue installing/updating WoT was due to my own damn ignorance.
When you download an update for WoT, make sure you have enough available space on your drive to not only download it but extract the whole thing as well.
Kicked myself for not noticing that myself once when I was using a small SSD.
thanks for the advice, but already checked that . this is a brand new comp only 3mths old, and has 80%  space still available, and was working great until saturday night.
intel HD graphics, realtek HD  audio , everything is up to date.  spent last 2 days checking , updateing , installing , re-installing . etc. etc...... i love the game
the only reason im leaving is i cant  get  it to work. i apologize for  the quit posting my intention was for WG to take notice. not to offend anyone.
i would like nothing more than to be able to play , learn and improve  my game... but i  dont know what else to do  "shrugs"

Damn, I must have special Win8 without IE 10 then.
Or maybe I just know how to manage my system without breaking it.
By the way, are you aware of Scorched Earth 3D? Last time I played it (more than year ago) it kept quite close to original.

You know what it is...We all know what it is.

Combat on the Atari 2600 did rock, WoT doesn't even have bouncing square bullets yet!

T-50-2 left, but we still have bouncing rectangular ELC.

My bad, I did say "any" but didn't mean to imply "every".  I've run into it on multiple systems, with various hardware configurations.  My older system running IE10 on Win 7 updates just fine, but my newer system wouldn't complete updates on a number of games regardless of how I attempted the updates (through the updater, downloaded full installs through various browsers or direct via HTTP, or copies of downloads from other machines that had no issue with the install off those install files).  Only change I made to my system to get it to work was removing IE10.
Had a friend that had similar issues where he wound up rebuilding the machine in an attempt to get it to work.  On a clean Windows 7 install that only had recent drivers and all Windows updates installed he was still getting the same issue.  Uninstalled IE10 and it worked fine.  Not saying IE10 is the issue (and definitely not on every machine), but there does seem to be a bit of correlation in some of the problems that have been seen.

Haven't seen that, might have to check into that if I ever find enough spare time for something other than WoT (and my other hobbies).

WoT doesn't top either? I just played Scorched Earth and uh well... Not my favorite game.

I came into this thread thinking someone had passed away and was going to offer my condolences.  As it is... don't let the door hit you on the way out.

I hear ya.  Wargaming has let too many troll tards ruin the game.  When they get a handle on "Mods" most of these losers will go away, but until then it's time to go elsewhere.

Don't get your hopes too high,
I might be back at a later date.
I just don't like that the game has so many handicapped mod* users.
Even more distasteful; many of these handicapped players actually think they're better than others who don't require mods* to play the game.
Until then, have fun camping in the spawn point and sniping at noobs.
*I could care less if a player has xvm, custom reticles, or custom audio mods.  But the same players who use aimbot, radar, infiniview, etc., etc., also use these mods.  And are usually the same ones very vocal about "stats".
