50mm max for the ARL V39.
The "Prototype B1 Bis" showed in Maximilian's post never existed.

GJ Ainenizm that TD looks awesome. I've been wondering about french TDs gonna look like or they even exist.

Great video, other than the TD the video also shows them modeling the Australian Sentinel tank for the British tree as well as mentioning that they are modifying the engine to allow for actual pushing of tanks and objects, tanks "jumping" at high speeds and rolling over.

If the German premiums are anything to go on the B2 heavy will suck and I think most of the others aswell.

I never thought I'd say this about a vehicle, but that is *gorgeous*

the B2 is probably the weakest heavy tank IN THE ENTIRE GAME !!!!!
It's tier 4 it IS the weakest heavy in the game. Again I stress, you need to know how to use it. Being Tier 4 it's usually matched up against tier 3 light tanks which simply can't touch it. Even against tier 5 tanks it can be perfectly usable; I recently 1v1'd a PZIV. Granted, it didn't have the upgraded cannon, but you get my point. Only the Panzer III/IV, KV and Churchill are invulnerable to the B2.

The Char B2 is a demon, and when it gets its hull-howitzer (don't forget it weighs an additional two tonnes though) it'll be a nightmare.
It's surprisingly nimble, it can squeeze through gaps that other tanks can't and its very accurate, fast firing 47mm can spam HE shells from across the map with abandon.
While its armour isn't really the greatest (the PzKfw III has 70ap of frontal armour) it, like the British tanks, tends to be heavily armoured right around. This means you can dive into scrums and use you quick traverse and ability to pivot on a dot to brew up circling tanks and it has the (relative to its tier) acceleration and mass to crunch light tanks under its tracks.
To put it into perspective; it is the lightest heavy-category tank. It'll never threaten a Tiger VI. R&D on the vehicle stopped in 1940.
Now, if we get the Char B ter with the three man turret . . .

The Char B1 ter, with sloped and welded 70 mm armour, a weight of 36.6 metric tons and an engine of 350 hp (260 kW) was meant to replace the B1 bis to accelerate mass production from the summer of 1940. Cost was reduced by omitting the complex Neader transmission and giving the hull gun a traverse of ten degrees instead
