Recently, I played a match on Severogorsk. Yeah, the map I almost always win on south.
So we were playing, and the score was 12-1, our lead. A platoon of tier 7 TDs left to kill and we win.
Wanna guess where they were?
Parked up in A7 and A9/0. Our dead person? Only scout.
We couldn't spot them, and there were no arty to kill them.
We spotted the SU-152 ONCE, and that was it.
And, we all even charged at once!
No lie! All of us!
Mowed us down.
The problem is, we couldn't spot them.
TDs are now virtually invisible with the new update when parked in bushes when you're 100+ meters away.
I lead the charge, in my T29, with my 13 other teammates.
I died in 5 seconds.
They were good players, but we were very good as well.
However, when you pit 3 players against 14 good players, AND THEY WIN, you know something is wrong.
Especially when we cannot spot them.
All they had was them doing kills and a VK 36.01 H getting a single kill.
It was a shooting gallery for them.
We couldn't hide; those 3 sectors have complete dominance over the base.
And when 3 TDs go up against 14 people, TOGETHER, TEAMWORK, charging all at the same time? AND THEY WIN?
Look, people say teamwork wins games.
If your entire team charged across a choke point on the former Prokhorovka Assault, you'd win. A general with an advantage of over 4 to 1 would charge, and win.
Our team was a good team.
But when you get cheap spots like that? Unfair.
And you might say that charging across open field is stupid. We all were poised, unhittable, right at the brink of their base, and we charged.
Just two sectors to cross.
Now how the heck does this happen? Analyze:
That SU-152 was lit up early, but disappeared fast. Had there have been arty, they could've murdered him, and then they are two TDs.
Those two spots? The A7 spot is only hittable from the mountain. And the mountain is vulnerable to all three TDs.
We couldn't spot them. We tried, and we were good. Unfortunately, a combination of no arty, unable to spot the other two, and unfair positions, led to a loss.
There are a couple things you guys MUST do:
1. Completely remove Severogorsk. The south wins almost every time, UNLESS you have a platoon of TDs like that who park in the sectors. In that case, it is an instant North win.
2. Buff arty. Had arty been in that game, the SU-152 would be dead, there would be 66% of their guns to shoot at us, and we would've won that game. With the huge arty nerfs, not many play arty anymore. That leaves a platoon like that unbeatable.
Unfortunately, none of this will happen. An overwhelming number of players wanted assault gone. Did it go? No!
It took months of complaining for Prokhorvka assault to go. Wow! That's too long.
I know I'll probably be issued a "Warning for being _____", but that happens to every time someone points out the oh-so-many-mistakes you guys make. It's about time to listen to us. We want to be heard. Fix these issues! Stop tossing us aside. There are problems with your game, and you need to fix them! I'm on the brink of quitting. I love the tanks, the players are generally funny (although some are a bit bad), but the maps..... blargh.
Fix! Game! NOW!
