Are the people playing on xbox using the same servers as people playing on PCs, or are they totally separate?

Thanks!

Except either assisted aiming, or enlarged or removed weak spots and levelled out armor.

A controller is not suitable for fine aiming like a mouse is.

I never tried WoT on PC since I've always been a console player and had trouble with the whole mouse/keyboard setup. I played the xbox360 beta for 3 days this past week before they shut down the servers, and I definitely had some fun with it. WHen the servers went down I decided to suck it up and give the PC version a try, and yes, what a difference. I can see why the PC players could care less about a console version as it suits the PC much better, and that's coming from someone who has never played a PC before! Even a complete newbie to the game/pc games like me was able to control the tank so much easier, and while I'm having some trouble getting used to the scope/mouse wheel zoom, I can see where the mouse is much quicker and more exact than a gamepad stick.

Unfortunately its been tough to play on PC for me as my desktop is hooked up to a 61" DLP, so I've had to screw around setting up a wired mouse/keyboard since the wireless mediaboard I use with a pad didn't work too well; any setup suggestions you guys could share would be much appreciated. My wife is out of town for the weekend and my kids went too, so its WoT all weekend for me! Sadly, when the xbox version comes out I will probably end up settling for it more times than not due to our setup. I do think the 360 version has potential, especially for players who haven't been able to or care to check out the pc version, but when you've played it here and then try the 360 version, I imagine it will be hard to accept how watered down it may be.

The difference between mouse/keyboard and a console controller, is NIGHT and DAY.

The keyboard allows for far more customization of keybinds and what not, while the mouse allows for far more precision in aiming. If you have a mouse with a few extra buttons that can also help with keybinds.

You can't really do any of that with a controller, you just have to suck it up. If the controls are bad, they're bad and that's it.

Using the shift key to jump into 1st person mode will help you a lot with your mouse wheel issues.
