Each rank defines a set of permissions.
Permissions can be granted only with the ranks.
Ranks cannot be edited to customize permissions for each position.
Everyone in the clan has only one role.
Various rank's permissions overlap (as seen in the table above).
The role “Clan Commander” cannot be given, only transferred to another member.

Today by mistake I delegated authority to a clan member which effectively handed over the clan to him . .

He tried to give it back but the feature seems to be disabled temporarily . .  is there a delay in the transition period?

I too would like to know the answer to this.  I'm guessing there's a 24 hour period to wait before you can transfer it to someone else.

It took about 48 hours for the permissions to filter through . .  after that time my team mate was able to hand it back over to me . .

It was the longest 48 hours in my WOT history . .   I wanted my clan back . .

Yup, just confirmed it's a 48 hour period.  Alrighty, thanks for the heads up!

Confirming that there's a 48 hour cooldown when you leave a clan or give someone Commander.

I have been looking at the new clan webpage this morning and cannot figure out how to leave a message in my clans message board.

How can messages be left in the clan  message board?

Please chance combat officer to have the ability to change other members ranks, no one uses this rank because a combat officer can change another member or him self to Quartermaster, Quartermasters can pay out gold

This needs to be updated with 2.0 map permissions.

Why can't we decide what permissions each rank has?  Why can't we create ranks ourselves?  Why can't we change or rename ranks?  What is this, communism?

Why is there three ranks for the identical same number and type of individual privileges?  Those three are: private, intelligence officer & junior officer. Why waste the space creating & retaining two extra useless clan ranks? Curious truly.

As clan commanders we should be given the right and option to change what permissions that we feel are needed or denied for each officers position.  As it stands now, if we do not like what a particular officer is doing we cannot take away any certain power without actually demoting or booting someone.  I would rather have the right to exclude certain powers to begin with and perhaps allow those powers to be added over time as needed or earned.

Not sure if this is the right place to bring up my problem.  I've been promoted to Executive Officer in my clan so I can initiate action on the Global Map.  This promotion occurred a few weeks ago.  I have not been able to apply for an attack on a landing zone, I don't see the "attack" button appear below the province when I select it as shown in the Global Map Guide.  What am I doing wrong???  This has been a source of frustration for me.  Other Executive Officers in my clan can complete the process.  Is there some sort of extended "waiting" period before a new Executive Officer can exercise his  Global Map permissions?  A search of the forums has not provided an answer for my dilemma, hence this post.

TIA

have you tried different browsers? Sometimes that causes issues. Once you are made an XO you should have insta access to that portion of the map as there is no waiting period.

I thought it may be a browser issue.  I've tried Firefox (v. 47.0.1), Pale Moon (v. 26.3.0) and Chromium (v. 52.0.2743.82) so far.  Every feature of the Global Map seems to be working with each of them except trying to enter a Tournament for a landing zone .  I can do a Search and get a list of available provinces but can not join a Tournament for any of them - btw Auction returns "No matching landing province".  It's as if the interface does not recognize me as an XO.  I'll try a few other browsers once I get them installed but I don't have much hope that will work.

I don't see it either anymore. It may be because we own land so it disappears or they may have changed it from when they made the video in the guide.

Here are some pictures of how to apply to landings. First image is from clicking on the province to look at attackers and the second is from doing a search of landings. Hope this helps.

The reason the auction tab doesn't get any results is because they don't do auctions anymore, its just landing zones.

Thanks for the reply, Bomber.  I don't get the "Apply" button at the lower right as seen in your first image.  Just a "Close" button.  And I don't get the right-most column with all the "target" buttons in the province list shown in your second image, either.  It's a conundrum.
