Well I  recognize the buildings of Bovington in the photo so it is in their collection, not that it narrows it down that much.

That doesn't mark it out as a prototype, there's all kinds of production vehicles around it (excluding the 40 ton cent, ofc). If you'd picked up on the steel plate concealing the shape of the glacis that was fitted to the early chieftains, OTOH... You're correct that it's a prototype.
