Same type, different model. I've always loved the mirrored driver's station and glacis machine-gun mount.

Type89A-Chi-Ro

Bottom photo looks like one from when Japanese tanks were rolling towards Manila :)

Edit hmm no not the Chi-Ro wrong turret shape sec checking my photo logs :)
Edit #2  Sorry had the wrong variant :)  its the Type 89B Chi-Ro which was also the same as the Type 94.

Type 89 I-Go from japan?
edit : is it Type 89 Chi-ro? wikipedia said it was I-Go
new:
I D this -yes it's a Sherman but what type.
Posted Image

Yeah should be the Type89 Chi-ro

Sherman reminds me of the Towed Decoys they built, front tow point was to attach to another vehicle and create decoy convoys.

Seen the tank before can't remember if it was one of those variants

Edit  Sorry had the wrong variant  its the Type 89B Chi-Ro which was also the same as the Type 94.

Tank Recovery Vehicle M32?  would be a variant off that no HVSS suspension and lacking the 81mm mortar it looks.  Probably grouped as just a M32

Correct
This heavily messed around M32B1 is a memorial in a park in Mumbai (Bombay as was). Stripped of all its external fittings barring the draw bar on the differential housing.

Hmm really? driver port is very non german, weird.  Ahh yeah kick outs are german design in the hull.   Almost looks like ones of the Leopard variants, close to the design for the TD version, but think it only made it to wooden mock up, and possible gun port would be offset to far.  hmm 2 section hull assmebly? width seems rather wise for that light of a tank almost.  Main drive assembly should of given it away as German doh.  Also its drive has a rather light weight mounting Hmmm

Yeah DB style, oh wait that front corner is a bent up fender! lmao though it was a temp side cut out :P   Yeah should be a DB
Fender I kept seeing as a cut away on front hull unfinished and temporarily covered with corrugated. Epic fail lol

Edit

HA!  hehe had the image and forgot :P  better image here :)

I'll tell ya what threw me off the most is I forgot the original prototype 3002 DB used track return wheels where the revised design did away with them.  Seeing those threw me waaay off lol  The track design was changed 3 times I think.  Really would be kinda neat of WoT had the base design ones then upgraded to the final design after upgrading tracks :)
