Conkker if he did that, then id have to paint all the alpha channels white after any updates because i like the transparency as is <-(not a huge issue for me, but some people might not know how to use alpha channels to add/remove transparency)

I agree with ed-anger in that the class as main color (not faction) would be better, maybe make the tank name font a point larger as well.
as it stands for the color per class, SPG and heavy are hard to tell apart unless the names are next to each other on the list, rather than use darkish red for heavies and red for SPG I suggest green for light tanks, orange for medium tanks, red for heavy tanks, purple for SPG and keep blue for TD

On USSR T-28 it is not 30/20/25. Correct is 30/20/20

Here is modded ussr-T-28.tga.

Found few mistakes in this.
1. Russian heavy is shown as tier 6 (Not sure if this applies to is-3, and other russian heavy tanks)
2. A32 has white background when it should have green as it is medium tank
Havent found anything else critical in this yet.

Check out the original post, P_o_g_s updated it to v3, changed some needed stuff and added those new vehicules.

Can't post on the EU forums in the original thread, but there is an error in the armor values for the M6A2E1 pre-order heavy tank.

Current PogS version has it listed as 102/44/41 and it is actually 191/44/41. If someone could relay that to the EU side, that would be great.

At last I managed to finish my latest contour mod (with the help of Adiyahu)
Included are the flash modifications that removes Mirror and red/green alt tint effects.

Make a backup of :
‘<wot install directory>\res\gui\flash\battleloading.swf‘
‘<wot install directory>\res\gui\flash\PlayersPanel.swf‘
‘<wot install directory>\res\gui\flash\VehicleMarkersManager.swf‘

Unzip Contour folder to ‘<wot install directory>\res\gui\maps\icons\vehicle\‘ and overwrite files.

- As you can see the lower part with the tank icon now shows the tank type
- Armour value BG is now grey for all tanks and the width is the same
- I remade German tanks to make them look coherent with the other nations
- Added new premium tanks

Very good concept with this Icon package.
Here is my little feedback.

Colors, national colors for Germany/Russia/US is irrelevant.
Instead the little badge showing tiers could have this information (or a little flag with tier number on it).
Instead use the background color to more clearly indicate if its Light/Medium/Heave/TD/Arty


Vehicle Icon, not very important. I would rather have the vehicle name and model in more clear texts.

Texts, at a distance it's impossible to see what it is. Have to zoom in on it with sniper scope.




Armor values, VERY handy.

on my PogS 3.11 non modded the BT-2s are labeled as T-26s

I put alot of time into playing TDs, and this really helps me pick my targets... got my gun stats memorized, so I know, at a glance, which tanks I can tackle, and which ones I need to be cautious with. Stellar work, my man! :Smile_honoring:

Love the 3.2 release especially now that it has the preorder tanks included.

One request though.

Think it might be possible to put the tier number to the right of the tank outline and then put the turret armour numbers where the tier used to be?

It would look a bit less fancy I suppose but having the turret armour would be invaluable alongside the hull armour.

Otherwise this is good stuff.
