He knows that, he just wants to know if it was possible to change the ingame insignia to the Taiwanese White Sun on Blue Sky. Because ingame, it displays the PLA insignia.

WG doesn't want to upset their Chinese customer base, who considers Taiwan as part of China. I personally don't think it should matter, because it means Taiwanese tanks can make an appearance in the game through the Chinese tree (as opposed to having a "tree" of their own).

well
if WG really care about "HISTORICAL"(sorry , not about politics)
then this vihicle should be Taiwan tank
or put it in USA prem with ROC emblem(like M10 panzer with usa star

WG collects data about type64 tank in Taiwan and put this vihicle in China prem with red star

is this WG call that "HISTORICAL" ?

Agree.

The Type-64(Chinese:六四式輕型戰車) has NEVER used in People's Republic of China's PLA Force.

It has ONLY used in Republic Of China's Army.

So I don't think the WG give the Type-64 a true and historical emblem.

Because it should be this Posted Image

And not a Red Star

Really hope Wargaming will fix this very big trouble.

Thanks.

Make the type-64 have taiwanese insignia on all servers(except maybe the Chinese server).

Short answer: Because the Russians don't care one way or the other, and the Chinese would ban World of Tanks, permanently shutting off World of Tanks from a major part of its consumer base.

The Chinese government is incredibly strict about things like this. The Entire Hearts of Iron series is banned in China because it portrays the Republic of China in power.  (Which is historically accurate during the time the game takes place.) PRC wants to erase the ROC from history if they can.

It doesn't really matter what the stock emblem is anyway. Someone will just make a skin that has it have the KMT's logo on it instead.

it uses the a derivative hull of the M41 Walker Bulldog and in that era, 76mm was a Light tank gun

WG should tell their Chinese bot-using account farmercustomer base to stuff it.  The only thing more pathetic than irredentism and dreams of empire in 2013 is being a laughably worse country in every single way versus the victim of your irredentism.  Better answer: make the standard 'China' emblem on all Chinese tanks the ROC emblem.  Or a nice DPP green just to drive the point home.

Account farming is actually technically not against the rules on the Chinese server.

Chinese law requires that MMMOGs that get imported into the country, (A la World of Tanks, ect.) have to be managed by a Chinese company that does a localisation of the game for the Chinese audience. Companies, such as Wargaming.net, negotiate terms with a Chinese game company who will manage the game in China. The Chinese government (generally) approves it, and then the Chinese company runs the game with little oversight from there on. The Chinese company is from then in charge of server maintenance and the localisation/censorship of any new material that comes in from the game company outside of China. While a company like Wargaming.net get a cut of the Chinese profits.

Now, gamers in China have little else to do but to spend abhorrent amounts of money on the MMOGs they play. In this day an age, alienating the Chinese is the worst business decision one can possibly make. Chinese game farmers spend a lot of money on gold, and yeah, they sell accounts, but that's not necessarily against the rules on the Chinese server.

They farm accounts on other servers.  Rare is the botter on any server that is not a Chinese account farmer.

Another reason this market isn't worth it.
Have you collected your .50 cents yet or do you have to defend the irredentism first before they pay you?
