Since i recently played the world of warplane i looked at all the stuff i realized that they had a bot battle but i could only get only 1 bot on my team. so i was thinking more people play world of tanks so why not have bot battles for just you know one else. For the offline mode deal i think it would be cool because i dont always have internet so i have to go to my friends house to use his internet. so i was thinking why no have a offling mode that would be cool. So let me hear what you guys think about it and if we get alot of post and likes or what ever well mabey they would do that.

So long as you gain zero XP and zero credits.

No it should follow training room rules and keep all ammo costs with no rewards.

Bot battles are for the sole purpose of getting used to the maneuverability of a new plane...they don't get you any credits or xp. However, since it appears someone read the word "bot" and blindly negged you, here's a +1.

I think that having an offline mode would be nice that way you could test out your skills with your friends against different levels of AI opponents. Have the teams be randomized with all different tanks so it is like a pubbie match and what not. Kind of like combat training or other various offline modes you could work towards your level for offline and it wouldn't have any effect on your online profile you know?

Would be nice to see for a training mode, making new players or players in new tanks run through mock battles at their own expense. Maybe even allow them to use perks and modules to find the best fit for that tank and their method of play before entering real battle.

I think part of the problem with an "offline mode' is that it wouldn't be truly offline.  Since, most/all of the grunt-work (who can see whom, who shot shot whom etc) is done by the server, even for an offline mode you'd need to connect your client to the server.  I think it would place a great burden on the server since one person playing offline would generate more work for the server because of playing with all the bots.  Furthermore, you'd have to have separate stats for offline mode, otherwise everyone would play stupid bots and get ridiculous (and unrealistic) damage, kill and win ratios.

It would be nice but not practical in my opinion.

All ammo costs, no rewards, battles aren't recorded in your account (so they don't count towards stats) and then I'll concede it can be allowed, but not that it should be.

I would imagine xp and creds wouldn't be needed in a single player game?

I would love to see single player rooms where you can play against a few bots, or maybe target vehicles at key locations for tank/map familiarization and training purposes.

As far as offline mode, meh.

WG has said no offline mode at this time.  In the future, who knows?  But not for the foreseeable future.

All for this in WoT, it works well on WoWP. But as already stated there should be no experience/money gained. Great way to learn your tank and test out tactics in a setting that won't count against you.

What would be great is if you could load up a model of a tank you're having issues facing, and work out spots to hit them. I'll go into training rooms with friends to do this, but we're limited by the variety of tanks that we have. further, it'd be great to work out angling my tank to maximize the effective armor.

Yeah I know youtube has a lot of the videos about this, but actual controlled practice would be great without the ammo cost

i mean that for an offline mode u would either get all tanks fully maxed or you have to earn them. i think an offline mode is a good idea

"Bot Battle",renaming to a more popular title "Training Battles" should definetly exist. There is no place to practice expect "wasting" your first few hundreads battles ingame learning the hard way.

well i still think offline mode would be good have a diffrent world of tank download where then u can just play it offline. like the 8.8 test u have to download it seperatly.

It would be good the way CoD: Black Ops (1&2) do it. Having something where you play on either split screen or online and can just put bots in the game. Basically, the thing they should do is at least be able to start a game with only one person, but the ability to add bots would be good too.

Agreed. It would be neat but you would have to lose no credits, gain no credits and xp, and not have it affect your stats.

People brought up the server cost, since much of the game in processed through the server and not on your computer. That's one thing. Let's not forget that there's an up front cost: development. They'd have to create a whole AI for all the different kinds of tanks. Say goodbye to getting new tanks! Every one has to be developed and then it has to have it's AI developed. Not worth it, IMHO. They already have training rooms, have fun with them.
