Just finished up an IS-3, first time attempting any weathering, probably went a little overboard but it was a good experience

Someone needs to do a Jackson. And have some camo on the front and barrel, and maybe have some snow on it like the ones up there at the top of the page... I like the Jackson... a lot... and suck at modelling...

Beautiful work displayed by all of you here.  After I retired my childhood interest in modeling has been rekindled.  It's taken a while to accumulate the equipment and supplies but I've done a couple of aircraft and one armor model.  I've always been interested in weathering techniques and my first tank was an exercise in (over) doing trials of them.  Definitely too much but I keep justifying it to myself as maybe the one example of a individual Panzer that managed to survive :hiding:several years of combat and Russian winters without paint or punctures.

Anyway, I have a stack of boxes waiting for a 2-3 week stretch when I'm likely to be able to mix one up without interruption.  I look forward to seeing more examples of your work; please keep them coming.

Hi, today I bought 2 models after a long time of not having built anything (A Pz. IV and an M60 Blazer), and I was wondering if you guys had any tips for me.

I am quite the noob when it comes to model building (and painting), but I feel I can get better in it and like it if I really get into it.
