All I can say is that HD IS-4 looks so good I want to get an IS-4...

Better looking than trash Soviet heavies.

Come on, you may not like any vehicle apart from German and Japanese, but to say Soviet heavies is not good looking is really not looking at things objectively. Sure, the KVs aren't really good looking buy the IS heavies and the mediums are some of the better looking vehicles in the game.

And really though, that plan drawing of the Tier X Japan heavy really does not do it any favours. And since it is based off of some plan, I fear ingame it will look pretty bland just like the T110E5. Sure, the E5 has nice shapes and what not but there is no way the devs can give it enough detail to make it look real. Just look at that horrid looking cupola. And I feel the Japanese heavy will be like that. Too many things up to WG to imagine.

But if there is one nation where I feel that have the least aesthetically appealing vehicles, it'd be the French until the AMX-30 at least.

Well, I did mention that the new 3D models were such an improvement that it would take a very long time to get them all done.  That level of detail,  down to the casting number on the roadwheel,  takes a while.

Someone mentioned about a german ID chart that had the T1/M6 in it before (I think this was probably it)

"Dreadnaught" lol

No PzIV, but a PzII in 1945? Shouldn't that be in a "trash to haul away for recycling" table, along with the MkVIC?

Edit: since when does a Panther have an L/71 anything? Who designed this table?

Oh baby, just look at those log textures.

Oh dear WoT HD does beat WT over the head, and they'll probably even keep rust/scratches more consistent across tanks.

I bet WG RU is now beating its head on the wall for creating so MANY tanks to rework :)

No new tanks will be made for a while, can't have the graphics guys sitting idle!

I feel sorry for people playing this game on typewriters that can't experience all these wonderful new graphics improvements.

XMas has always been the season for general stupidity, local news from my parents but sometimes good news happens:

"On Christmas Day afternoon the police helicopter was hovering over the village for an hour.  Appears two toerags broke into a house at [the neighbouring street] to steal the keys to an expensive car they knew belonged to an old chap.  Minor flaw in plan was that his son and grandsons were visiting, all players in that gentle game known as rugby.

Arsehole one was caught after 'falling' when trying to climb over the garden wall and 'voluntarily' told all he knew about not one but two accomplices.  One was caught in a somewhat damaged condition having been butted several times by the sheep in the field!  Apparently a rare breed of sheep with fist and boot shaped horns."

Merry XMas for them I hope these scum were the ones who stole the generator from the back of Santa's Sleigh the week before.

God damn. I want to go outside and get a log to hang in my room and say I have official WoT merchandise.

I think only the tank modellers are doing that.

Makes me wonder if apart from iconic vehicles, will they do the Tier 10s first even if not all of them are as iconic or well known.

Had the Subway store I work part time at broken into on the 23rd. Stole a charity donation box and AUD $200 from the float. Really, some people really need to get their teeth kicked in, fixed right back up, and get kicked in again.

It's in the rear of Panther & it's variants book, along with quite a bit more info from the same source with charts and tables.

Dat vertical plating.

Also, those of y'all who are running on minimum graphics, check to make sure your computer is using the right graphics card. For some reason, my laptop decided it was best to have WoT use the integrated graphics card, rather than the other, superior one.

Well my laptop only has one graphics card so I am pretty sure I am using the right one.

Generally, having any graphics card other than the integrated device will disable the integrated device unless you specify that the integrated device is the primary in the BIOS. And most BIOS don't even have that option.

That's weird.

Oh Japan, first you anthropomorphosised mecha, tanks, ships, firearms etc. Now you do the same for scientific lasers?

Laptops swap back and forth between integrated and discrete graphics cards to balance power and performance.

Well, WoT HD does look pretty. Here's hoping Wargaming can actually optimize it this time.

A lot of laptops come with two cards - one low-end and another for gaming. They switch between the strong and weak one to save power.

So far WG has also optimized the engine with each big improvement they've released.

They can make the arty players miserable all they want. Just don't make everyone else miserable in the process.

Arty does need a complete rework, tho. Their chief issue is their "One arty piece represents a while battery" frame of mind with it. Once they get over that ridiculous idea, maybe they can start making it viable, while being balanced.

The point would be to make it so it's not miserable for anyone.  Get rid the massive but random alpha.
