I installed test1, but I cannot see stats.. It shows "loading.." on tanks in game. Could you please tell me what to do? For example hitlog works properly.

Thx

Looks like you are installed mod incorrectly, or you are running game via xvm-stat.exe instead of launcher or worldoftanks.exe. You should not use xvm-stat.exe since 5.0.0.

Does 5.0.0 work on WoT 0.8.7?

No, it's for 0.8.8 only.

I heard that XVM 5.0.0 installs with stats turned off as default. Is this correct? Do we have to enable it once we install it? If so, can you tell us how?

To enable statistics (unless you use a third-party or proprietary configuration), you must:
Rename the file res_mods / xvm / xvm.xc.sample in xvm.xc (ie remove the extension. sample).
in the file res_mods / xvm / configs / @ Default / rating.xc showPlayersStatistics option to switch to true.

Still doesn't work.

Seriously, is there a way to get this to work again without the hoops of fire?

I swear every version gets worse in making the most basic functions locked away lest someone actually use them.
It's like a damned trial of Hercules every fricken patch.

This is my first time using XVM. It didn't work out of the box, I had to make both those adjustments, but once I did, it did work fine, everything on default.

I cant only suggest trying to download a fresh install, they have test2 up, and try again.

Hopefully that works for you.

Can anyone tell me how to change XVM to show WN7 rating over EFF?

Tried that, didn't work.

As far as WN7 there's some setting in the config file iirc that swaps between them.

Question,
If we have Dokan, STAT-EXE and Microsoft net.Framework 3.5 installed already...do we have to clear all this out 1st.
Should we uninstall and clear out our WoT file in general and do a clean install of WoT?  Would it make life easier?

Sounds like xvm will be a lot easier to update with the new patch and moving forward.

Yes, but right now it has rendered the game 100% unplayable.
Installing a single mod (for, say, the minimap or zoom) wipes out everything else in the game so all vehicles are just 'loading...' There is no root default config for XVM to fall back on and make up for missing calls so you're left with 'loading...'

8.8 is the worst patch for mods yet, end of story.

IF you customized your XVM prior to 8.8, just pull your old config file from 8.7 - rename it to xvm.xc - and put it in the res_mods/xvm folder.  XVM will work the same  settings as before.

I managed to get the base XVM to work from your recommendations and it looks great. Looking forward to Eng1and's Config since i've used his in the past.
One question I have, and i'm not sure i'm in the right place to ask, is that my sniper/arcade mode doesn't seem to zoom in nearly as far as before. everything looks so far away. Is there a file i can edit to bring it back to what it was?

I saw that suggestion and tried it on a clean XVM install (that I confirmed was working)... it reverted back to 'loading...'

Right now I'm running into a brick wall because I've gotten my minimap mod to work... but it wipes out my hit counter.  If I install the hit counter, it wipes out my minimap mods.

Stupid, just flat out stupid.

Usually, when there is a mod-related problem it is caused by old files.

Need to get rid of all of the old XVM Stats files from the main folder, and really helps if you have a clean res_mods folder.

I spend the time to get a fresh version of WOT every update.  Only had problems once, and that was a WOT issue that a lot of other also had.

I cleaned out my mods folder, uninstalled Dokken (and rebooted), and got rid of all of my xvm-stats files and the stats still aren't loading.  I did check ratings.xc and it was enabled.  Changing the xvm.xc didn't help either.
