Yes, please bring back the debit. I like how instant it is, with Paypal I find it takes for ever before the money goes from my bank into my Paypal account.

that's because u have to link the actual card to your checking account.. mine is instant every single time I've used it..

NOOOOOOOOOO power, i am saying a prepaid visa gift card. Works the same way as your debit card but you get the ones with an undefined amount ranging from being able to load $25 - $250. So instead of someone getting a hold of your bank accounts debit card number from an online purchase and being able to drain your bank account they would only get the numbers from the gift card from an online purchase and only be able to maby buy a pack of gum instead.

Ah ok, I misread that. I havnt seen any prepaid cards with amounts you set. Only $25,$50, $100 ones. Il check the next time I am in town i guess. untill they bring back the debit thats what i will use

another payment method (dunno if they still do it with all the changes) is paying through cellular service via SMS payment.

I've spent enough using the debit function to trust it. I do not own a credit card either as I am only 19 and do not want one.

Some cards are better than others, but in general an unauthorized charge on a debit is still your problem. You are out of the money.

Also, I know things have changed over the last several years, but if you can now is the time to get a credit card. Starter cards will have something like a $300 credit limit -- perfect for small monthly things which come up. Just pay it off at the end of each month and it's no different than maintaining a debit card account. You get more protection, same convenience, and build credit.

You can usually buy the cheap ones and re-charge them to whatever level you need. You are, however, out any fees.

Think long term. Getting an account will build credit. That will make it easier to rent an apartment, buy a car, and later get a house..

I also had problems with pre pay and debit and wont use them.

This will boil down to how bad they want our money to change it.

I would avoid the Gift Shop or purchasing gold at this time, especially using Ultimate Pay, PlaySpan, or Ultimate Game Card.  Many people are reporting the financial transactions going through, but no credit going to their account.  When contacting Wargaming, they only point you to FAQs instead of dealing with the issue.

Gentlemen and Ladies:

If I wanted to use paypal, I'd use paypal.  If I wanted to use prepaid gaming cards, I could.  I have a very secure debitcard system through my bank that I prefer to use.  What is not being answered by wargaming is if they intend to utilize a debitcard system as one of the payment options.  Please note that I am not referring to those debitcards that are logo'd and linked to the major creditcard providers.

That's how it probably works for you guys in the states, but up here in Canada it's not instant.

If it's a work day, the money is usually transferred right away. On the weekends, however, the bank is closed and that seems to lead to delays (for me at least).

I can't understand why their payment options are so unprofessional.  PayPal is pretty normal, of course; but some customers will not use it (they ripped me off years ago.)
UltimatePay is extremely unprofessional.  You can only call them by phone if you look up the number on your credit card statement, and only that, because they are required to answer that number.  They can't tell if their own fraud prevention system declined a charge, or your bank's did.  They sometimes keep authorizations open for a week before they settle.
And I'm just guessing, but UltimatePay must have an extremely high fraud rate or something, because the Chase (my bank) representative I spoke to while trying to figure out why I couldn't spend money on WoT using UltimatePay knew all about UltimatePay and charges being blocked due to anti-fraud stuff.
This is basically like a lot of other small payment processing services used by pornography sites (who also have a high fraud rate) and similar businesses who don't or can't conduct business using a normal merchant card account.
While their options may be limited because they don't want to deal with complex anti-fraud systems themselves, you'd think they could shop around and find some alternatives to UltimatePay for customers.  The fact that their answer to every question is, go find a retailer who sells physical ultimate game cards, is not exactly a ringing endorsement of their abilities to handle credit card transactions.
EDIT: Oh, and the UltimatePay site tells you that you can buy game cards online from sites that don't even sell them, for example NewEgg; and if your transaction fails to process, it tells you to email a non-working email address!
