T57

Is this thing amazing or what? It has some of the best armor for a tier 2, it has a high rate of fire for artillery, does great damage for it's tier. In other SPGs I worry about a light tank getting close, in this thing the light tanks can barely hurt me and I can easily one shot them in TD mode. A great way when starting to learn how to play SPGs.

Great littel SPG it is. drove one for a while until i went for german lines. (M37 drove me insane) but for some strange reason i keep meeting them in my tier 8 tanks. Tiger 2 and T32. i think they were all platooned or something but either way they didn't hurt much when they hit (consider what they are trying to kill) and when i crashed through buildings or trees to get them they ran away really fast lol. otherwise awesome little SPG

I seem to see more T57s in low tier battles than any other vehicle. I am not quite sure why, most Tier 2 vehicles are just a speedbump to something better, are there that many people looking to upgrade to an M37? I was in a battle a couple of days ago with 9 artys on each side, of which 7 were T57s.

I'm up to tier 4 in the german SPG , just got my Grille (BBQ) , and I must say that the T57 seems to be a favorite. 9 bloody shots a minute, A much much larger shot angle, great speed, and I one shot a large portion of enemy tanks with my cres being at 65%. German SPG give better range but take longer to close the target recticle.
Good fun gun for a new player.

It and my PanzerJager are fully tricked out and both hold places of pride in my garage

I bought one myself. It's hard to shoot enemy targets because I am bad at assuming where they will be. I haven't killed many tanks with it, damaged a few, and came very close to hitting others. I hate how light tanks can just move fast to dodge shells
It's nearly impossible to hit a speeding bt-2, isn't it?

Yeah, it's pretty tough, but when you do it you feel like a total badass. 8)

It's a great SPG, the only problem is I can't get my crew back on it. They're in the barracks, they just won't get into it, I need an answer.

Edit: Sorry just reread your question. You already have a SPG crew for it and can't get them back in the tank? If thats it are they in a different SPG or is your SPG damaged? How did the SPG get uncrewed in the first place?

I think the M37 is an interim SPG - that said, its taking me forever to upgrade to the Priest, and I'm not thrilled staying with my 37. Waiting for zoom...waiting...fire....miss...waiting for reload...waiting.... However - I'm sitting on my T37 and never getting rid of it (well, til Wipe). Its sniper artillery - quick aim, quick reload, closed top so it doesn't explode at the hint of counter-fire. Only dents heavies, but its reload means you can dent them and dent the again before they can move. I've tried killing 'em with light tanks - I think its the first time I ever got a ricochet off an spg. I caught a 37 in my Hetzer's sights, blew it to pieces in one shot. Love the T57.

The T57 is my 2nd faverit tank in the game now. I am new to them and am starting to work my way up the Big Boys.

I was playing a Wespe when I wanted to get my SPG fix. It was terrible. Great damage, but crappy pen due to its terribly loose aim. It has sweet distance, but a 12s reload time (at peak efficiency). Very bad experience. Switched over to the T57 to see if American tanks were any better. Went 8 kills in my first match no sweat. Easy to aim, a wider angle, fast and mobile, very well armored. The aim makes up for any lack in damage, since you can actually go for soft spots on tanks instead of crossing your fingers for just a hit--and the angle makes it easier to arc over buildings and obstacles. Pretty much the pick of the litter for its tier. I really enjoy it.

Put simply, I just got my M40/M43 tonight, and I still play my T57 daily. It is my second-highest ranked tank in my statistics, if I remember correctly (right after the M41). Love my little T57! It is so much fun to play, and really demonstrates what the American arties are all about.

Honestly speaking, in Beta, I spent more time in a T57 than any other tank once I got it. The reload speed on top of the great damage and accuracy makes it well worth having. I would be hard pressed to want anything more than it. As for its tier rating, doesnt matter to me, its the fun factor of using it when I want to slow down a bit. I have had more fun in the T57 and lichtractor than any other tank I used.
