Can't Update to 8.8

When i turned the game on to play today, it started updating and then it took unnaturally long to start updating.
Then, this popped up:
Warning.
Failed to connect to update service.
For details, see log file.

I look at the log file and this is what it says:

Download the 8.7 --> 8.8 update manually
http://worldoftanks....pdate-now-live/
Remember to rename your res_mods folder and create an empty version so old mods do not cause an issue.

When I clicked World of Tanks icon it didn't even download its just say warning and so on and so on... I think its doing some kind of maintenance?

I got it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   You just have to turn off and turn on your computer!!!

I went in to my log folder and there is nothing there please help me
